I think it would be kind of cool for support to give us like monthly progress ratings, like "We solved X number of tickets but had Y more come in, this is Z more than last month"
I think something like this would give the public a better idea of just how swamped support gets with all the tickets they have to deal with, although its unlikely it will be implemented, I personally think that people wouldn't give support such a hard time if we saw what kind of a ticket load they were facing.
EDIT: Also, i think that if people saw just how many tickets were being processed, they'd be less likely to send in tickets over silly things. "Whats that, this NPC's shirt is 3 hex shades lighter? WE MUST SEND IN ALL THE TICKETS!"
