Housekeeper Mail Suggestion

Just wondering if there's any reason that your housekeeper could not or should not also act as a mailbox for you. It would make sense if you were crafting in your house, or moving items in or out of your in-house storage.

Sure, it might decrease the sales of the Convenient Mailbox, but since it would only be usable while you are in your house it could also increase the sales of the Home-Sweet-Home runes. The trade off there seems to be a wash, so no harm-no foul if it was to be implemented.

Anyone else see and pros or cons to this idea?

Actually, most zones do have a mail box close to the house keeper so it would be pretty redundant. Varanas and OS are the most inconvenient areas with the mail boxes so far away, but even there you're less than a minute away

True, there are mailboxes close to most housekeepers in town, but it doesn't help if you are in the middle of a zone and use a Home-Sweet-Home rune to enter your house and then end up needing a mailbox.

And as I mentioned before, using a Convenient Mailbox would work in those situations, but it's one more item to purchase. As would leaving your house and using a purchased Guild Castle Transport Rune (provided you were in a guild that had a castle) and use the mailbox inside.

So I suppose in the end, it's better to have the players spend their diamonds on two or more of the above instead of providing mail service via the housekeeper. Well, it was worth a brief discussion regardless. Thanks for the feedback.

Convenient Mailboxes or a rented Portable Mailbox are all you need, if you're too lazy to find a town. They have to keep some conveniences costing diamonds and/or rubies. I'm going to bet the rented Portable Mailbox and Portable AH are bought pretty frequently.

I kinda like this idea. I am one of the few that doesn't regularly visit towns formuch other than to sell crap. Even then I will find the nearest npc to sell to and most times there is no mailbox anywhere near. Maybe Implement it at a cost of 1 diamond per use or a couple hundred gold per use. I would be willing to use it even if it cost a little.
