+1

I vaguely recall (most likely from one of Swag's RoMCasts) that a shared account storage space was a future possibility, would need some sort of restriction though on Item Shop items gained outside of the Item Shop, eg; Level Reward Bags, to avoid potential abuse.

I really like idea, but at the moment Item Shop Backpack is small even for one account. (even with all bank slots and backpack slots enabled)

I would suggest to make it similar to bank slots (page I, II, etc) and have it show each character on account instead of shared single one page. This will help when purchasing large amount of unstockable items such as puries.

I wish they do the same for mounts/pets, as getting mount per account is more reasonable then getting it per characters. Without mount transfer, we are left to seek other options. (paid mounts and mount tickets) rather then getting one mount per account. (I would get more then one if this was enabled)

Only issues with this that if you increase the number of toons that can use, say, a permanent mount, then theoretically that would mean that the price should increase.

It is a nice idea, but perhaps it would hit sales of certain items to hard.

True, but I believe that people wanting to have mount per account will outgrow number of people who would buy more then one mount per account. (exclude some buying mounts just to get 30 day speed pot)

I have ten alts and all have mounts and all were paid for by cash-bought diamonds, not gold-bought. I don't think I am such a special case (in terms of mounts that is - of course I am special).

Cash shop issues can be tricky as while we might complain about the price of puris or plussing jewels, as long as nearly everyone has +16 gear, t7 clean statted, with t9 statted weapons and t11/12 dirty statted weapons, then reducing the price just means that either revenue is lost, or people just ramp up their level of pimping to higher tiers which makes the whole thing even more unappealing for new players to start on the treadmill.

Prices are just one factor in a very complex system of economy, doubly confused by the fact that the goal is not to increase the spending of diamonds in the cash shop directly, but to increase the number of diamonds bought for cash.

It is a complex issue, that defies any simplistic answers that we (and I fully include myself here) are fond of giving on the forums.

I can see where some will opt to gear even more, but isn't that the main point, have them get more DIAS and gear more.

Game is already gear-oriented, and new toon will see small are already at disadvantage.

Game is different here in USA where we have smaller population on servers compared to EU. We are way behind you guys, and at this speed, distance is just bigger.

I agree that is complex question, but charging more and people spending less is wrong direction for game that has income trough CS, not subscription.

Of course I like the idea, but it will never happen. Forget mounts; they're only the beginning of the problems. I would farm newbie bag rewards for the teleportation stones and Home-sweet-homes; I never seem to have enough of those. I'd never pay for another puri either.

Have you guys sent this idea to support.frogster-online.com? I sent this request quite a while ago, it would be nice if more people sent this request in so that they realize I am not the only one that wants this feature. I asked they implement a way to transfer items to your characters, or make the item shop bag accessible on all characters. Obviously they will need to make it bigger for 8 characters.

Above in BOLD is exactly why this will not happen. IT will get abused to the n'th degree.

Yeah though you could easily make the questing bags not Item Shop items, and that is that dead in the water.

Also the game is not so different over here. I think you would have a very difficult job convincing me that there is a noticeable difference between your top guilds and the top EN-EU ones. Even the best DE guilds such as Delirium really got to the heights that they did through teamwork and dedication - not as the rumour mill had it as clean t10 gear, t20 weapons and 50% less HP on all mobs on DE servers.

I admit that the key thing for progress in growing revenue is to increase the number of players, and increase the % of paying players, rather than squeezing the existing paying players for more. There are a number of ways of at least attempting this, but wholesale reduction of prices in the cash shop is at best risky. It would need to be done as part of coherent strategy.

Items in question can be easily prevented from being moved along tabs, if that's the problem. Just like going in someone's house and opening their chests. You can view and take unlocked items, but try to do the same with fusion stones.

IMHO, gear, jewels, puries brought for DIAS and house items should be sharable within accoun.

@KatalanOrk - As for prices reduction, if Froggy likes to grow the game, they should make CS more available in game. What would newbie think if you tell them that Free 2 Play game - to T10 weapon you need 3.5K DIAS. And that is with current sale of 1 for 1. EU servers have population that we can just hope to have.
