Screenshot output...

Perhaps change the screenshot output from Bitmap (.BMP) to JPEG (.JPG), perhaps?

Playing in 1680x1050 resolution, and the BMP's that are created are 6MB in size.

I know we all have gigabytes of space nowaday - but still, give us the option to change it?

I had about 300 BMP screenshots myself, so thats a good 1.8GB of space that's just sitting there. After converting to JPG (using Advanced Batch Converter) it was only 128MB, total, for all of them.

Just a suggestion. Not one that is that important - just when getting screenshots of character/bank/storage/house/etc. kinda builds up the disk usage.

I actually don't think this is something the staff on RoM can deal with since full screenshots are by default taken in .bmp format. As much as I wish it weren't so clunky that deals I think more with the computer itself than the game. I know it really sucks, especially since for some stupid reason my client seems to enjoy screenshotting every one of my loading screens..

And one of the very few people trying to bring back the "RP" in this RPG.

Is there a reason why it screenshots every single loading screen... it's annoying. >.<

What addon. There's like 30 of them, could you be more specific?

Another game (with an E, and a Q) had the same issue - screenshots were taken in .BMP - however, they modified that eventually to switch to JPG, as its freely available for usage (not like GIF, which is licensed). It's something that would have to be kicked back to RW.

Oh, Borella: Just read your signature. Congrats to Whitney Houston, she's been two weeks sober/drug free. /sarcasm

Borella, it's FixFor3.0.3 that takes the screenshots. It uses the timestamp from the screenshot tag to get the time for the clock part of that addon. I have it too, and every so often I just clean out the screenshot folder. FixFor3.0.3 helps some of my old addons work correctly, so I never removed it and just deal with the screenshots.

if youre using "fix for 3.03" aka "d303fix" (thats the folder name in the addons folder) try the slashcommand /os for its menu.

and uncheck the auto screenshot on login option. it has an option to get times from itemshop, too.
