Attribute-Purifying Stones

Can you make it so you can't down-tier items? Otherwise the Attribute Purifying Stones are completely pointless. :(

Ok from what I know when you use a purified fusion stone it gets the mana ston efrom the original level of the item it is purifying. Saying that if you ahve a T7 item and attempt to use 3 T5 stones on it, then you will down grade the item to a T5. I think they did it that way to prevent players from getting a T10 item by dirty statting then attempting to clean stat it with lower level stones.

Well, then what's the point of them? :l

Ok attribute purifying stones are used to clean the stats off an item. That is it. It is when you attempt to stick new stats on the iitem you just cleaned that you have to be careful. If the item you cleaned is say T7 you MUST use T7 mana stones to keep the item at T7. If you use T5 stones that will down grade the item to a T5 state. The tier of an item is determined by what mana stones you use noy by what it says on the item. Hopefully I clarefied my mistake in the other post.

Making them pointless..
If I wanted to tier 8 and stat it, i'd have to use 3 tier 8 stones with the stats, instead of being able to tier8 it with dirty stats, then clean it and stat it.

So, effectively, the stones are COMPLETELY USELESS.

You cant tier and stat at same time. That is not how game works. It would be very very unbalancing.

As mentioned, the main use for the stones is removal of bad stats. RT gear is still very much viable, but you new Raksha earring has that obsolete temple stat on it. You cant push if off. So, one attribute purifying stone and you now have clean earring to put the new Hero stats on it.

Or perhaps you have a rare 117 OD Dilan'y ring that you statted with DOD stats back when that was the best people could stat. Well, now you want all of the stats off, to restat from scratch.

Not understanding the purpose of the item does not make it useless.

Well... I'm assuming you are talking about the new ones that just remove the stats from gear and leave the tier intact vs the old ones that remove the tier and items. The issue is that they effectively do the same thing since there is no way to put anything else on your tiered up wep or armor without dropping the tier back down.

However, the new Cleaning stones cost more. The only function of the new ones is that they make your T10 or T11 Wep look neat and pretty without the level 1 greens or banana stats. Other than that they are pointless?

The extraction stones, on the other hand, are very useful. The problem there is; 1. they don't stack and 2. they were available for, what, 4 days and never seen again with the new "make the sales special*" strategy....

I agree with Stagg3r on the new extraction stones. They should be either available in the diamond shop or the ruby shop. It is pointless ahving an ability to do something and not beign able to get teh item that is needed to do it. Kinda like if they removed the megaphones from teh game but left it so you ahd to have them to use world chat.

So true, vfwiffo. We sure wouldn't want this game to be unbalanced.

Lol'd.

@ OP - Attribute Purifying Stones aren't useless. They're actually mandatory if you want to get to any serious content without being incredibly undergeared compared to everyone else. Unless you happen to know a lot of people that think stats like pdef/mdef are godly for PvE...but good luck with that.

You need attribute purifying stones... say you get that new piece of gear, it's 120 OD, and it's absolutely amazing, except for one thing. The stat on it is wisdom/magical defense. What do you do? You use an attribute purifying stone!

For once i'm going to agree with Wiffo... the fact that you don't understand how they work and the purpose of them does not mean they are useless.
