would there be a possibility to transfer to alts??

I would love to be able to transfer mounts ( 6 ), backpack ticket permanent ( 6 ) to my sons accounts.

Could this be a possibility?

Thx

I am afraid not, at least not without the assistance of our support. But since this is not a case of a mistakenly bought wrong IS item I think our support would not have a procedure that allows them to transfer those items. If you want to give your son a mount or IS item you would have to use the in-game means if possible, such as the gift option of the item shop.

Sorry :(

Yep, new rules are in place. AU servers still allow transfer of mounts between characters.

So what you're meaning to say Dionaea is that if I submitted a ticket saying that I mistakenly purchased a mount on the wrong character they would be able to fix the issue, but not if I say I just want it transferred? I see no logic here. We all know for a fact that there is a way to track what items have been deleted. This is how it used to be done; they would tell you to delete the item you want transferred and tell them what time you did so, they would go in and check to make sure this was done, and then they would mail you a new duplication of that item to the character you wanted, as long as it was on the same account. I'm not seeing why I have to pay twice to do this...generally, if I am requesting for things to be transferred off of a character, it means that character is going to be deleted. The only reason it is remaining un-deleted is because of said items that I want transferred being stuck on that character.

I already tried submitting a ticket asking if I could have a mount transferred like I had done previously - before hands had changed - and got a response saying it is no longer in the terms of service. What terms of service, the terms of service that are now full of fallacies and little square boxes all over the place?

It's just a little irritating to have paid for an item that is no longer being used and will no longer be used, and told that the only solution is to spend more money on something that will potentially end up in the same predicament.

Dionaea if you see this, is there a more useful response that can be given, or possibly a solution to our problems besides "spend more money"? I understand that you guys have a business to run, but there's only so much I can spend at one time and remain living. If I buy the mount now it will mean potentially spending less money on the sales you put in game because I had to use it on buying yet another mount.

It also makes me more hesitant to spend money freely because what if I decide I don't like the character I am playing and want to make a new one? None of the stuff I bought will transfer. I'm guessing the solution to this would be "buy a fruit of forgetting". Which either costs more money, or would take almost a month playing a character I don't like, just to get rid of one class. And then there's the dilemma of if the class I wanted was locked to another race. I spend a heck of a lot of money on this game, and it just makes me hesitant to spend if I am at all worried that I might not end up liking my character.

Then there's the issue of using a fruit of forgetting. There are only so many quests in the game that can be done, and it's hard enough leveling your main class to level 70 with all the quests available. Try doing it multiple times.

I guess I just don't see the issue of transferring a mount from one character to another character, if that character is no longer being used. I paid for it once, why should I not be able to use it anymore? Just my take on this issue.

I hear you there. Ironically enough an easy remedy would be to make some sort of IS name-change ticket seeing as it gets pretty clunky after a while, but we'll see what happens.

I'm inclined to agree with Rikatah though; while the vast majority of changes made by the FEU takeover were pretty well-off, the tendency for FAI to allow for such things as mount transfers was a gigantic plus. I for one would like to see that returned.

why would they let u transfer stuff from one char to another? u know how much they would lose in sales on things like this? of course they want u to buy a mount every time u make a new toon. /sarcasm off.

i thought with the implementation of the partner bag we would be able to share things like mounts and vanity pets among toons on one account. What i would really like to see is a shared item shop backpack, i bought a bunch of lvl 30 plussing stones and didnt realize i wouldnt be able to acces them on my alt, having bought them on my main. meh, live and learn

I can already see why that would be a bad move; CoO/Xaviera questing to 50, nailing out the bag quests in Ystra and bam, 6 puri's right there shared over the account. With that kind of movement just about nobody would need to buy diamonds, leastwise for puri.

Then just make CS items obtained from those bags unable to be put in the item shop bag. Simple as that.

How different is that from - Getting an alt to 50, run mini games, get shell stats and use those 4 puries, sell, delete account, repeat process???

The difference is that the toons brought up to 50 would have to gear appropriately to run minigames, as opposed to running up to 50 and having the main run instances.

You don't need that much gear to do Minigames... make a little bit of white dirty statted gear and just switch it from new toon to new toon.

You don't need gear for GG... run yourself on your main. You don't need gear for CoT... it's all strategy. You don't need gear for Ancient Treasure, it's also all strategy. You shouldn't need that much gear to do Survival.. its all fairy easy to kill monsters.

However, gear does help a lot! Especially if you're a Warden. since frantic briar cuts through all pdef/mdef, you do a massive amount to anything in the game including the tile things in CoT. forget strategy, just AOE your way to the keys and then the door, takes about 5 minutes max :P
