Now, I've heard rumors about an addon that will tell you if you already have a card simply by looking at it in the auction house, and it additionally goes further into recognizing mobs that drop cards and tells you if you have it or still need it.
What I'm wondering is why this isn't a permanent addition to the game? The recipes already do this, why not the cards? With the cost of cards out the roof, making one purchase of a card that you "think" you don't have, could prove financially disastrous, especially if you happen to purchase one that no one wants to buy from you, especially at the rate you bought it at.
Looking through the monster compendium is a hassle and a half, as there's no way to organize things other than by "type" of mobs the NPC is, and that's not even displayed on the tooltip for the cards in the AH anyway. There really needs to be an in-game system that can easily tell us if it's already part of that character or not, as not everyone uses or trusts addons that often cause problems with the game.
Please make this happen.
