Gates In Seige War

They're simply not tough enough. Last night in Siege, ONE level 70 rogue managed to take down one of our gates very quickly, then run inside to hide. He then proceeded to kill buildings when no one was around. ONE player shouldn't be able to take down a gate that easily, regardless of how good his gear is. As Siege War currently stands, siege weapons are pretty useless unless you're too low level to attack gates & buildings. Most sieges never involve siege weapons at all, but siege weapons like rams & catapults are what players should be using on gates.

So what I would suggest:
1. Decrease the amount of damage that player based attacks do on gates.
2. Increase the amount of damage that siege weapons do to gates & buildings to encourage guilds to build & utilize siege weapons.

Actually the Gates and Siege engines need some reworking to scale them to where the player base is at now. I agree that it is stupid that all it takes is one player to take a gate or even a siege engine out. These are things that have been suggested before. Maybe you should take it directly to support and submit a ticket to them.

The damage form normal attacks are fine, it's just that bleeds hit way too hard comparatively. If they managed to scale the bleeds to a reasonable level it'd be ok...well unless you get a tornado/scroll combo, then tough luck

@ Quaffy2 I have been here since Siege was first started and we had to use the Siege engines to even dent the gates. While the player base has been given some major upgrades the gates have stayed at their original level. The gates and the Siege engines now need to be reworked to prevent just what Nerra has said. One player taking out a gate and then getting inside to remove the opposing guilds ability to get traps and towers. That is unfair to say the least.
As it stands Siege is won by whomever can take out the gates the fastest. And seeing as most of the time it is a Highly geared Rogue that does just that within minutes of Siege starting I do believe that everyone sees a need for the gates to be buffed.
