Memento/Shell Stat/Gear Price Drop with Level Cap

I hate the idea of the price increase for each new stat with each level cap; especially considering we are not getting any more mini-games or hardly any more mementos from the instances. Also, the fact that the previous stats from the last level cap and the one before still cost the same amount of mementos/shells to obtain, yet they are hardly worth what they were back then.

I suggest a price drop of previous stats with each new level cap/stat released.

Example:

Current Level Cap Prices: New Level Cap Prices:
Crimson Stat (+106 x/x) = 200 shells Crimson Stat (+106 x/x) = 150 shells
Glorious Stat (+116 x/x) = 250 shells Glorious Stat (+116 x/x) = 200 shells
Bygone Stat (+126 x/x) = 300 shells Bygone Stat (+126 x/x) = 250 shells Newest Stat (+136 x/x) = 300 shells

Obviously the same process should work for the memento stats as well. Understandably they can't reduce the prices every single level cap, but a small reduction (perhaps less than my exaggeration above) should suffice.

It's a good idea. It takes longer and longer to farm dod or gce for mems to get those stats. And even when I run and kill everything in seconds(less than 3min dod runs) it still takes a lot of time to get one stat. Every chapter it becomes harder and harder to farm mems for stats. And same with shell stats now the cost for them increases and people only buy the newest ones not the old ones anymore so the cost of a new stats should decrease as well as cost of old useless stats.

I like this suggestion. Shells have become a main source of stats for a lot of people, and it's already somewhat slow to get ones you need, since more often than not, you end up with crap stats. I really hope they decrease some of the older shell stat costs and not go up to 350/400 with the next two tiers of stats.

Agreed. The amount you need goes up, but the ability to get them is still governed primarily by time. Seems like every increase has gone up by one full goblin run for the shells, and an hour or two of spams for the mento stats with a high chance of getting junk for any of them.
A couple new minis with higher payout would work well, or higher level publics that pay better.

I haven't been questing in southern for a while, but with the increased amounts you need, I'd expect that area to be packed full all the time with AFks along with any other areas that payout 'free'

The theory on mentos has always been that as instances get tougher, the mento rewards go up. So, HOTO gives you little, Origin little more, HOS little more, ZS/DL more, and so on. It has to more with difficulty than levels - DOD has L57 gear, but it is much easier than L55 ZS/DL - so you get less mentos in DOD.

So, what is supposed to happen is that higher level people farm tougher places and get more mementos; and so earn stats at same rate. Problem is that DOD and GCE are still only real farmable memento places (unless you are OP enough to do fast RT farming runs). Running DOD over and over for 420 Tomb stat was bad enough. Make it 700 Eternity stat, and it becomes mindless grind.

I would say a new decent mento farming instance is what they should be shooting for. That means no Tias, Jennys or golems requiring you to run through 2 tornado rooms as first bosses.

If by all means this suggestion is recommending memento stats to be easier to get, I strongly agree with this. Farming DoD endlessly for a consecutive 2 hours to roll for an eternity stat only to get a hp/mp is ridiculous.

Either make the stats 100% or lower the dayum memento prices, thank you.

I agree 1 tornado room is bad enough 2 is just unfriendly but then to have to kite the boss round tornado's too fml..... i think they kill me more often than the boss does........ slowing you when they hit is just rude and normally means death If your running solo

Haaaxxxxx!! I got multiple Lightning and Thunder of the Eternities in my last pulls. I'd say terrible luck.
