public quest display option

In the newer zones it would be real nice if you could toggle the public quests off, since they show on top of everything else, you can't tell if the NPC has a daily or other quest other than the public.

Same thing in the search window, enable a way to toggle dailies and public quests.

you can do it, they count as dailies. So if you disable dailies on the map, then you won't see public quests.

but if you're looking for the dailies...

Then you'll find that most of the public quests are also dailies. Personally, I've never bothered looking for too many dailies since the public quests are in the new zones: ie, Tergothen Bay & Dwarf Kingdom. If you are under 69, the only dailies worth anything are in Infernal Gardens in Xaveria, 266k turn-in's. Then the Dwarf Kingdom, the dailies are 272k, but if you stay in ch. 2, you'll see 2 prevalent dailies: Taz & Flame. Both are raid dailies that are fast and easy to do.

Either way, you can just turn off dailies on your map and not see the public quests. I guess I don't understand why you would want dailies w/ worse ROI than the ones everyone already knows about...

Late coming back, but not all public quests are dailies, most are, not all.
If all you want to do is get dailies done and see which ones are most convenient for you, your only option is to run around and talk to every red mark on the map.
I don't like doing the butterflies or any of the ones in Xav, I do them in the new zone instead.
I just feel you should be able to turn them off separately because they aren't dailies or any other kind of quest, and as mentioned the public quests are on top of all the others
