that's pretty nice.I didn't that feature mentioned on xbar-iii... offhand, do you know what the rental fees are?
Quoted from "engelixe;589919"
Yea, I know that the rental function thing is kind of a hidden feature in ROM, but since I wasn't sure what the codes were to open up the rental functions, I figured referring Ycavan to XBAR seemed easiest. About the pricing,
4 dia 3 days
7 dia 7 days
12 dia 15 days
16 dia 30 days
40 dia 90 days
60 dia 180 days

Thats just bank pricing. Mail and ah are more expensive, though i dont recall wxactly how much, i believe 110 dias on ah and mail.

Thanks so much for the in-game macros!
now... how about changing the request to: Make the portables and their rentals a part of the UI

Source code
1 2 3 4 /script TimeFlagFrame:Show(); /script OpenBank(); /script OpenAuction(); /script OpenMail();
First one opens rental window
Others open respective portables.

I'd just like to come in here and remind everyone that whilst these macro commands will work and give access to the Bank, Mailbox and Auction House, they are not officially supported by Gameforge and should you have any problems with them, you are entirely on your own.
I personally, prefer to not use them.

... NOOOOOOO warranty at all.

Quoted from "FarmerTom;589973"
you may not support them.. but you STILL get the diamonds we spend on them... soooo kinda wierd to say hey well take your money and give you a product but NOOOOOOO warranty at all. mwahahahahahahahaha!!! <-senial
Quoted from "effervescent;589978"
I honestly don't see why it's not "officially" supported. It's been in the game for a long time...but I guess Gameforge has no problem with taking our money and then claiming no responsibility when it comes to a function that is in their game.
Quoted from "Borella;589983"
If it's in YOUR game, and able to be accessed by INGAME means, then, sorry, it IS your responsibility to deal with any problems that may arise from it.
Quoted from "Kalvan;589987"
Keep in mind that addons and macros, while allowed, are specifically not supported by Gameforge. If you happen to use an addon or a macro and disaster strikes--you vendor a modded item, let's say, and then log out before you realize you've done so--Gameforge is in no way responsible for your having used the addon or macro. Gameforge is also in no way required to replace that item.
So, if you use one of those "unofficial function" macros and somehow lose an item or three, then it's very unlikely that Gameforge will do much, or anything at all, to return the item to you.
You use them at your own risk.

If this feature were not intended for use, then Id expect it to be disabled. The contrary is happening, the game has its own rental function window, you spend dias (real life $$$$), and you get a service for the time you paid for.
This isnt some player-created function, its an actual game command and function. This isnt some addon created and modded by an addon developer. This was coded and put into the game by Runewaker themselves.
Quoted from "Zavod;589992"
The function to open this window without calling the API command, however, was disabled - I interpret this as the developers not intending for it to be used, and that they figured it WAS disabled, because the average user had no way to access it. They must have had some reason to disable it or hide it so well.
Calling an unintended, otherwise unused API function that just happens to work may not be the best thing for your game's stability and may not be error-free, and I can see why support would tag it as an "At your own risk".
Don't get me wrong - I use these functions myself. I do know, however, that if I do something wrong with them or it eats my diamonds, Support will likely tell me that I get no reimbursement. I'm okay with that, and the convenience is worth the risk. This is a choice you've got to make for yourself.
