More token shop items

Talk don't squelch, the idea and topic is to come up with additions to the token shop even if they are things other players are like "no they are useless" that talk is unofficially not allowed in my suggestion threads anymore I will report you for being off topic.

My total ideas for token shop items are as fallows

~One story home types:
Home types are mostly ascetic to begin with but they add more room so this idea is adding just a little more room they are big enough to add plenty of furniture for crafting and ascetic purposes but small enough to feel cozy. they come in the same house types as the 2 story homes only they aren't as big.

~Perm versions of the standard rent mount:
same speed but just doesn't go away, available in White Black and Brown.

~Up-gradable Steam-punk Bike mount:
a rusted out steam-punk style bicycle that can be upgraded with a Cash Shop item to go faster; the faster version is less rusty and all shiny new.

~Planting table:
Crafting furniture item specifically made for growing plants, acts as all 3 pots without taking up valuable furniture space.

~Adding special fertilizers (magic water item) to token shop:
Never really said this one out loud because of all the naysayers but I thought it would be great to have an item in token shop that reduced the time it takes a plant to grow.

I have quite a few other while brainstorming but as I said before the idea of this thread is to TALK about it NOT to squelch it. If you don't like the idea DON'T SAY ANYTHING this is a place to talk about it as a suggestion and get more items in the token shop. so please just keep the negativity to yourself for once.

In other words a place to share your suggestions for token shop items in a positive environment.

Ooooh, I want an ascetic house. Mine is anything but. In fact, he lately been developing very hedonistic tendencies, that little rascal.

Doesn't that exist already in the Low, Medium, and High Class Plant Growing Agents? I've never used one personally, but I thought that's what they did, make a plant grow faster.

Yes, both protection and growing agents plant items are in token shop. Useless overall, btw. Well, not useless, but not worth buying. Planting is already trivial to develop.

Only time I would use something like that if I know I will not be around at harvest time, to speed up growth, but in that case it has to be very cheap not to offset by a lot cost of planting (which is low), but not to be more expensive then AH.

Yes this is a think tank to get more items in the token shop to make up for the things that got taken away, even if we are not able to get them all its to add content for free players because right now they are getting pretty suffocated by cash players that aren't willing to be investors.

Its sad really thou I'm seeing this game become another City of Heros and they got killed by a walkout protest in regards to not being able to contact other players without paying money to the cash shop. too many people said if they were going to do they they should not have gone FTP.

this brings up the origination issue I mentioned in one of my threads that got squelched it was award because I mentioned 3 different diamond shop ideas as well as only one token shop one, find out recently that someone had it removed by faking a fight because of the "perk"

Yes free players don't need perks but they don't need to play ROM eater, but they want to and if ROM wants to keep the free players they are going to have to give them some of what they want meet em half way and they aren't doing that recently.

if stacked I can see it being much more acceptable a magic water pack would be nice, again something not too expensive but not quite issuing challenged the cash shop eater.

We want the cash shop commensurable to make money for ROM its the only real un-caped earnings for the game at the same time we don't want to overprice them or make thing unattainable.

They actually did used to have permanent versions of the rentable mounts. They were cheap, at 99 dias each, and still slower than other mounts. These were removed when our CS was changed to match the EU version's CS. They were really useless anyway, though, since you can get 7 day horses from the free rental tickets you can get in minigames. I wouldn't have paid diamonds for one when they're already so easily accessible.

CS fertilizers, as mentioned previously, we already have, and they are useless to anyone with half a brain.

The planting table idea, I do like, since 10 plant pots does take up a lot of room.

The bike, though...nah. The Rune Disc is about as steampunk as would fit in this game to be honest. An actual bike would just be completely out of place. I hate games that have a world similar to RoM's and end up putting bike mounts in them. It detracts from the atmosphere.

The Shop was not changed to match the EU Shop - both were completely revised!

Not true...

Our IS was adjusted to match higher price of items from EU IS, with only puri as exception...

Items that never were permanently in EU were removed from US IS, like bind lifter.

This was followed by 'the same sales' strategy for two completely different markets... and this is where we are after year and half of 'sales torture'...

Kroagnon is correct - at the chapter 4 launch, our Item Shop was radically different to how it had been before. Some items were now gone. Some items went up in price for us too, whilst some others came down.
However, the US Item Shop had a few more items in than the EU ever had - most notably, the ABL. So, the US players have a more noticable change.

If you think you are being screwed over though, consider this:
- the cost per diamond to play on EU servers is higher than for US.

€99 will get me 3000 diamonds on EU servers, but the same amount gets me 4500 diamonds on the US servers.

If that is supposed to make me feel good about IS, it is not working... EU had DIAS NPC for LONG - read VERY LONG. We had it for a month and made enough big difference for me that I actually made mistake and purchased some dias over good decision of FEU... mistake I will not make any more unless they show some more intelligent sale strategy.

Was that supposed to make me feel good/better about overpriced IS that is set to prevent game progress and make it miserably slow?

If you think IS is not expensive, consider this - RU server give tons for transport runes for 1 DIAS... Match that GF.

All the item shops need a good cleaning out of items that have long since lost their usefulness. Jewels the only plus items up to level 20, 30, etc. and TP and XP orbs that only offer 1000 TP or 10000 XP these are only a couple of examples.

Nah. These items are nice for new, lower-level players to be able to get used to playing - should they choose to do so. (I'd still advise them not to waste their diamonds on stuff below level 55.)

I have a purple crafted staff, level 37, T6 and +6. Then there's my T6, +8 Gusher & HSOA.
Not many would do that to stuff like that nowadays - but I did those only a few months back :D.

You advise them not to buy the stuff and waste their diamonds but still want the stuff there. After wasting their diamonds and finding that a week later what they spent their money on is now useless is why people quit. The thought is why are they playing us for suckers selling us something that is worthless tomorrow.

It is interesting that even if you + weapon that is LV 1 with +70 gems - you still have HUGE fail rate... :D

At least, they are consistent in fails...

which killed the server economy much to the bad omen for free players as some rely heavily on that economy to get what they want because they can't exactly get Diamonds in truth with ROM US they are the only ones suffering and they are allot of new players who got run out of the game because we have people squelching suggestions. so lets get back on topic here see what we can do to make the Token shop work more for the players that cant afford diamonds and don't have the time of day to farm their buns off for 12 hours.

Yes lets get the ideas rolling for new content and forget for a moment Free or Dia alright lets just get ideas new content new items better items how items can be improved....

POSITIVE, POSITIVE, No bad ideas right now this is just thinking of how to expand the Token shop as I am aware there is a thread for the Dia shop already.

Who is in for making a general suggestions for new connect thread (pref no bashing allows one because stooping an idea is easy as being a pest about the negative)

You are only owning yourself like they did. Heck it made me search your name just to make sure to post against your suggestions. Just because i know they are horrid and you will go "REEEEEEEEE" at me saying they are horrid.
