Trigger happy and eager to do something greens

We have such a nice 'class it all I don't like' greens, that are working at 110%. Let's use them and palce them in Support, that would solve some problems... not that they always know what they talking about... but at least it will keep them (and us, wha tis left of users on forum) happy.

welcome to 'green' state sign should be posted somewhere... that everything you write might be just adjusted to someone's likes...

One green comes to mind when you mention trigger happy.... most of my guild can no longer access the forums and it's always the same green

You're allowed to contact staff regarding the behavior of Mentors if you feel you've been wronged. I don't think publicly shaming them (even if no names are mentioned) is going to get you far.

... or you can contact support... :)

Not that they are doing anything bad for me, but just gets anoying writing an answer to find topic being closed or posts being lost... it will just push people away from forum. Sure, we don't follow all the rules all the time, but some gray area should be left in there...

I saw many forum close, and mostly is when moderator are 'over-doing' their job. Isn't this what happened already to FEU on EU side? Wasn't their forum dead and some of them posted (and still are posting) here?

Please greens, learn from that.

Contact who? Laghmara has pm's disabled and you never hear from Mika or Cernunna. Most I dont believe will bother returning to the forums anyway.

BUt yes if the support team was as gun ho as some greens things would get solved quick

It would not be first time I had to contact HQ... but those guys were slow in FEU time, now probably even worst...

This is not reason I posted this - real reson is that I would not like to see this community become like EU community in FEU time because someone don't know how to handle forum/discussion board. This side of forum was known for many helpful guides, guess what happened when they deleted most of them... (remember, we will create better, even give some dias for folks who create them - right, that happened.... :))

Mwahahahahah!

Ahem...

I post here simply because I want to contribute to the RoM community (and generally annoy people) but I have the same mindset for the EN & AU forums too.

The "Green Meanies" are only doing their job here. If we violate the forum rules, then we must accept the consequences of our actions.

As I understand it, the rules are there to try and keep the forums positive and helpful but I often come browsing in the hope of trying to help someone only to find a ton of crap-posts from people whining and moaning and complaining and even swearing or making accusations against others.

This is where the Mentors and Moderators come in. They have the 'lovely' job of coming in and tidying up after our [removed] and make the forums all nice and pretty again.

So, what do we do?

We [removed] and [removed] about all the [removed] posts that the [removed] Mentors have [removed] deleted or [removed] edited and how [removed] unfair it is that my post was the [removed] one they [removed] messed around with.

Whichever Mentor has to clean up after us is just a matter of timing. If "Mentor X" sees stuff needing moderated, I'm pretty sure he'd be doing it. If "Mentor Y" comes in first, it'd be him.

If we're tired of always seeing our posts edited, it's probably about time we re-read the Forum Rules so that we are full aware of why our posts are edited so that we can avoid giving the Mentors too much hassle in the first place! Let's go easy on them - they are just regular players like us and probably lose out on a bit of their fun game time in having to clear up or deal with our mess.

Let's grow up and stop acting like spoilt 5-year-olds!

EDIT:
Too much [removed] swearing, sorry. :o

Exactly because we are not 4 year olds, I don't see a reason to turn forum into police state...

I can just tell from my experience, delting posts because someone joked and wrote about sales intern, mentor should leave that post, not just get trigger happy and delete them under rule of calling GF staff a name?! Funny thing is that green does not know that that is exact position that GF hired under (more then once in past year) and unfortunatly it is true.

So, hire greens that have sense of humor... :) makes dark situation somewhat more durable... (not talking just about forum color scheme here :))
