Disable use of Sacred Phoenix in Siege Wars

Since certain people seem to have an infinite supply of these, perhaps it should be disabled for use inside of Siege Wars.

Or have we really stooped down to a pvp system that is absurdly pay2win.

I'm not as concerned about Sacred Phoenix, because not every guild use those. If it was as necessary as, for example, plussing gear, then yes. But if only 3 or 4 top guilds use them, its not that bad. Otherwise you'd have to disable gear for siege too, since gear is the most pay to win thing in this game.

So your asking GF to stop selling an item that makes them money; (Regardless of how few they sell); just because your Free2play self can't beat someone that payed diamonds on a specific item that enables them to gain an upper hand in pvp.

So with the current gear system that requires several hundred dollars worth of diamonds for a single set (which, yes, can be used in siege)...Sacred Phoenixes are what puts the game over the top for p2w-ness?

Wow.

Or just stand and wait to see if they rez up. Then stomp on them again. That's Siege War 101.

A fun thing to do is drop a FOT and a tower right on top of them.

No, just to disable them in siege.

And this isn't soul bond so dropping a tower/treach isn't a normal action because they never fall over.

But considering that you obviously weren't there and didnt see that people with 200k+ hp use these items several times per encounter (must be really aggravating to die several times over to the hands of someone "bad"). With many encounters during siege they are obviously dropping several thousand diamonds per siege in consumables of an item that has not been on sale in SEVEN MONTHS. The rate of usage is something I'd call suspicious to begin with because there is no hesitation in them using 5 more just so they can win a skirmish

Or do you mean to say that such people dropped enough money to buy brand new cars knowing that these items would be in short supply for several months down the road. and have equal supplies of tier X runes or stat cleaners.

Gonna agree with Sertet on this one tbh. There is 1 guild out there who have a majority of their members popping Sacred Phoenixes in each and ever siege, and after each death they don't get to pop them.

I could see the argument that they "stocked up"...except for the fact that some of these toons were created, leveled, and geared, not too long ago. The amount of people who use them added to the fact they use them every single siege after almost every death is, as Sertet said, "Very suspicious."

Now, normally I'd tell people "get over it, they bought some, you didn't" but if you look at the cost of Sacred Phoenixes vs how many used, vs how many have them....and the majority of 1 guild using them...I honestly think it should get looked at.

Especially since those individuals in those guilds were caught doing "suspicious" actions before and reprimanded. (Ironically created new toons once the last of Frogster GM's got fired).

This is Sacred Phoenix, one of the rarest on-sale items, and most expensive to get item shop consumables. They're bound, not tradeable like egg rice.

We beat them. So thats not an argument. Heretic has capped their crystal almost, if not every, time we've faced them. Not an epeen complaint, its a "this doesn't seem quite right" statement.

I think raves gets my drift. This isn't entirely about epeen or anything else. I know when I'm outclassed but in most instances, that isn't the issue.

There is a stark difference between "I can't kill you because you have better gear/outheal my damage/return hits harder than I do" and "well you certainly beat me by chugging $5 potions for a few seconds until you could start attacking back"

Last time these individuals were dealt with, it was handled via PMs with Nytefall, not GF support.

Nytefall was the best active GM we had. I once PM'd him about a botter on Reni, 10 minutes later i got a reply, ~30min after that reply that botter went poof.

I notified him of the names of a suspected rune duper and his alts, along with a pic of him having an Xbow that had not yet dropped on Reni (I would know, I was on every downing of KBN HM 6th boss up to that point. No other guild on the server was even close to that boss), Nytefall looked into it, less than 24 hours later that individual, and all his alts, were banned, and are still gone. Although he's now borrowing a friends' acct.

No Nytefall - no active GMs.

edit: guess the above is also the backstory to a nice portion of reni's drama xD I'm never exactly discreet when I'm confronting botters/dupers/hackers xD

I know the individual you are referring to quite well. Just to inform you, those accounts you are referring to that were created "once the last of Frogster GM's got fired", have actually existed on Artemis for nearly 2 years. Ignorance yet again from Raves and Borella. Does your guild recruit on the basis of uneducated QQers that have to report gear they cannot afford to make or is it just because you have never made anything of yourself in real life?
