Upgrades needed

Now sense the cap has been raised to 80 and a new cap coming there has been a unbalance to the game that needs to be addressed, and it falls mostly in the area of Siege Wars...

Because of the higher levels and the way people are stating casters are doing less or no damage at all, and FLame Towers and ELectrics are useless, people are standing next to these towers and taking little or no damage what so ever, so why can't we get some kind of adjustments to the game to Balance things out a bit... :( ;(

There are 3 spells that need to be raised on the Mages side that have a level 50 cap on them now, "Silence, Fire Knowledge, and Wind Knowledge", if these could get a boost it would help Damages in siege wars more than there doing now which is little to none... :cursing:

I've moved your post/thread here to Suggestions since it's a better fit here.

Who do you know that is statting a caster so they "doing less or no damage at all"? Maybe they need to learn how to stat correctly, because any good mage should be able to 1 shot people in siege. I also see zero reason for increasing Silence, Fire/Wind Knowledge. The knowledge skills are on par with the damage boosts from other magic using classes. If you're only reason for increasing these is because you are getting killed easy in siege, then
you should explore better, faster ways to kill and not ask for something that would actually UNbalance the game more than it already is.

*edit* stupid forum formatting bs, tried fixing it twice and it still looks horrid.

I feel that if they set the mini games to scale to the highest player in them, then they should set siege to scale the same way. If There is a level 80 in siege, all gates/faces/fire towers/NPCs/buildings, etc should all be level 80. If the highest is only level 40, then the same. That should make lower level players wanting to siege, be able to have some fun if matched against another low level guild. Course might have a problem with people entering late that are higher than what the stuff was spawned as... hrm. Maybe just npcs and defences, when they respawn/set down take the level of the highest player, forget buildings and gates.

As for mage skills, leave them at 50, no need to up them. Every weapon skill maxes at 50. If you made them higher you would be making mages MORE TP starved than they were before, which is just not a good idea. However, if they wanna go in and up the amount that they give, I wont complain. However, making me have to dump more tps into them... negative. Plus as a mage I have never had a problem making new gear and doing less dmg.... EVER. Been playing a mage since ch1, it is my main character, the one I play in siege, and I like to consider myself close to end game, if not end game. That suggestion is completely unneeded and would hurt mages more than help. Mages I think are fine in siege. If someone says otherwise... I think there is a "seattokeyboard" error.
