Mobile Auction House

Has there ever been talk of a mobile auction house? I couldn't find anything by searching the forum. It would be great to see one put into place for people that have very limited play time like myself. When playing WoW I was able to use the mobile app at work and such. It was a great way for me to make gold. Just curious if it has ever been brought up and what everyone else thinks about the idea. Thanks.

This would necessitate exposing a new interface to one of the primary economic drivers of ROM to outside clients. I am sure all the members of ROM hacking community would love to get such an interface.

Not that it can't be done securely, mind you. But with the economy badly hit from hacking incidents already, I would say it is too risky.

Sorry guys. I should of been a little more specific. When I said mobile auction house I was referring to a cell phone app. Something that can be used any time without being in game. However its been so long since playing the game that I forgot about the in game mobile items. Thanks for reminding me about those.

A bit off-topic, but I thought the mobile AH (rentabel with dias, totally forget the correct name, portable?) had been disabled for ages. Am I that behind the times?

u can get one with rubies with the right macro...portable mail, AH and bank iirc

srentalservice will bring the UI for renting portable AH/Bank/Mail up and Xbar has a button to show the Rental Management frame too.

its just that the rentable(for diamonds) portable AH is disabled on the EU servers since... ages ago? - Mail and Bank working fine.
on US all 3 options are available if nothing has changed since i last heard of it.

I'd like to point out that the interface for renting these 3 features has never been implemented ingame via the standard UI and can only be accessed via macro/addons.
They are used at your own risk.
