RoMwiki is not an "official" site...

also, kiting rogues is not meaningless, i can't say how many better geared, higher level people i've killed on my scout because i know how to kite...yes, most classes do have longer ranged skills, but many cannot sustain the ranged dps a scout can...the ones that do, however, stomp on my face...
my r/p can outdps r/m. your name is stupid.

R/M Combo throw that hits 4 times. It doesn't matter what type of scout you are, the end result is the same - dead scout. :D

R/M's Combo Throw can hit 4 times (the target's PDef or dodge rate can cause one or more misses) but that doesn't guarantee a kill on a Scout/X or any other class combo. At least, not at *my* current level (75/62). Both Throw's and CT's main damage are based on main weapon DPS, so the dagger and its tier will provide the largest modifier. The rest of the damage modifier is based on the *projectile* damage. Both skills will do somewhat more than tickle a target, in most cases. :D
I've met quite a few R/M in siege, and that Combo Throw hits HARD. Even Cloaked (Not sure if you know him, big OP 200k HP mage with lots of Pdef too) falls victim to the CT of one of my former guildies. ^^

"As I said previously, the RoMWiki page is recently either wrong or is lacking detailed information, especially tooltip information regarding skill descriptions and ranges. I do know for a fact that Throw and Combo Throw have a range of 150, no more than that. Period. I do not know why you cannot seem to understand this and keep quoting ranges of 200-220 for them. Lrn2Read4Comprehension, plz."

So now you know more about the range of attacks than not only everyone else but the people who designed, coded and run the game as well. Some how I have far more confidence in their opinions than yours for the range. I also have a rogue and scout and tested them both and the range of throw exceeds that of crossbow by at least 30 but closer to 50. Where you get the 150 for the range of throw is a mystery. It is no where in any ROM site that uses that figure.

Um, I know what the ranges are for Throw and Combo Throw because I play an R/M.

Once you Lrn2Read4Comprehension, go back and re-read what I've posted.

Silly person is silly.

If you set rogue as your primary and a ranged class (scout ) as the secondary it will show you the range of the throw skill in your skill bar, the range shown is 200. After showing the range for throw on the ROM pages the wiki pages and in game as 200 where is your 150 figure coming from. Please give us a link to the ROM page where it is shown. That is with a crossbow with a range of 180 equipped and the shoot skill shows a range of 180.

To show as I have been saying and what they have been denying since the start that the range of throw is longer than the range of shot.

I tried what Aardvark said on my W/R and for throw it says 150....Does Scout have a general skill that extends the range of throw?

Even if bow adds to range it's moot as you have to unequip to use projectiles. For both r/m and r/k range is 150.
I sadly don't have scout anymore (had to kill so to add k to help guild in siege) but pretty sure it was 150 as well

It is 200 for a r/s . I don't know why it is different on other combos.

And I wonder why I as M/R was always owned by M/D - magma blade skill - 250 distance and hits you twice.
