Umm... I realize that sales are recycled, so perhaps someone just cycled in the old text for jewel sale, but ... well... level cap is 82 and new line of gear is 82. Only 81-90 jewels we have so far are vendor ones. Players are not exactly going to +16 gear with those. So, if the sale is on L80 Faith jewels, that underscores just how much the ball was dropped on L90 jewels not being put in item shop. And if it is the L90 ones, what exactly are we going to do with L7-L12 and L13-L16 jewels without L1-L6 ones?

Now, if they use this occasion to put the new L90 jewels into regular item shop and then have sale on advanced/enhanced L90, that would be great. But if the sale is as advertised, on Faith L80 level jewels, prepare for some flames coming GFs way.

Really? Have you checked what the best necklace in the game is for phys DPSes, and probably mages as well? Have you looked at the new pants, that have over 500 damage when plussed? Or that whole set, which is RT-like in that it has no conflicts with main gear set and very well worth having? Have you shopped POM gear?

Sure, some of it is not available yet, because people have not farmed it. But necklace and POM gear are vendor-bought and can be had now. No point till gems are out.

RW done its part - they put the new jewels in game, and gave the upgrades to vendors. The item shop is in GF's control, and the fault is all theirs. Sales have been unimaginative recycles for months now and this one.... well....

OK, GF guys, this is crazy. You had major hacking incident with people essentially breaking into GM functionality. Someone spent a lot of time chasing and cleaning the system. Couldn't have been easy. Lots of work, but things seems to have stabilized. Hard task and must've been lots of pressure and stress. Kudos for working on it.

You had a new zone rollout, which run into problems... people were locked out and got annoyed. You must've spent lots of overtime and lots of stress and aggravation finding and *knock on wood* solving issues and reopening zone. Again, hard task to do so very quickly and get patch out in such a short time. Kudos for that too.

You have increased presence on forum, much greater details coming out, mentor program expanded with damn good people, new level of communication and openness. Kudos for that as well.

You had GM coming on servers helping with quests. I didn't even know it was possible, being stuck on Autopsy for months, and Autopsy was far far more broken than the quests you helped with. Kudos for that too.

So, why the freaking frack is sales such a problem??! We been stuck on same boring old recycled sales for several months. You even had a "what do you want for sale" thread running, with I am sure some data gathered... the things were not put on sale. There has not been anything majorly interesting or innovative that makes me think that there is actual human making sales instead of runaway random number generator that picks one of few old sales to recycle.

Sales is how you make your money. Sales is how you support the game. Sales is how *you* get paid. Sales is what keeps the game running. It is in your own interest to make sales appealing, because that is how you make your living. How can you spend so much effort on fixing things, on releasing new zone, and then forget that one little thing that happens when new zone is out - people getting interested in new instances, replace their old gear with new gear, spend money to plus it, tier it, drill it?

That should be the time when you get extra influx of cash. That should be the time of increased activity and interest for players as well. This should be the time to make sales interesting.

SO WHY THE <BLEEP> DO YOU SHOOT YOURSELF IN THE FOOT BY NOT EVEN UPGRADING THE OLD JEWEL SALE TO MAKE IT USABLE??!
