Cedric sold 15 per day, then he was nerfed to selling only 3/day, and his prices increased to 30k each as well. This is actually a very good idea against inflation but I doubt we will see him again. Its crazy to think that 3-4 months ago dias at 38k were considered "expensive" on Palenque and they now stand a whooping 200k each. Surprisingly the supply actually has decreased, in both terms, volume and amount of sellers. Hence when someone suggest that the diamond/gold ratio is just like any capitalist market where supply and demand dictate prices I really just have to laugh. Apparently not many understand the concept of monopoly and market power.
PS. Cedric sold 3 diamonds per day per account not 15 lol but he charged 30k each if I am not mistaken or close enough.![]()
whats the use to bring cedric back for a few days and then take him away again???
the people with tons of diamonds, botters, and or legit players with multiple accounts with just horde up the diamonds again ex. ah trade to their own accounts.
the problem is due to lack of people who actually are buying diamonds from rom itself, then there are the free to play players with tons of gold willing to buy the diamonds now at outrageous price compared to a few months back.
cedric wont change a thing, when people are willing to buy diamonds at the price now, remember its the players with diamonds who are controlling the market now,
and yes, most players wont be able to do much without diamonds, girls best friend, maybe, but now our worst nightmare...
I used to buy diamonds outside of diamond sales because I had confidence in the direction of the game. I'm positive others did too.
People don't have confidence in how the game is being run, people don't have confidence in the leadership, and therefore people don't buy as many diamonds as they used to.

3. sometimes the fluff stuff is nice to have such as gear/weapon aggs, if the item shop turns into a strictly "pay to win shop" with no other reason to open it then what is the point of the game anymore... (yes im fully aware the game is mainly p2w but i like to buy useless stuff just to have it, im a hoarder, 100 chests and bank and bags fully unlocked and still have to have alts hold things for me)

), at this point anything will help curve inflation. However, this must be preceded by getting rid of the gold hack in the first place. As long as the gold hack where people sell these "magical" ingots for thousands continues, the whole entire commerce of the game collapses. I almost feel as to simply stop buying or selling anything altogether and just stay here staring at my monitor watching as my savings in gold vanishes and turns into dust. Agreed. Honestly, I found it odd that ThePit would want to dismiss "Fluff stuff" as unimportant. As far as I've seen in Cash shop MMO trends, selling fluff stuff and convenience, and maintaining it is really the ultimate goal (although they usually fail and degenerate into p2w's).
