Arcane Gashas - Discussion [Weekend Sale - Oct 25-28, 2013]

This weekend will be magical! As with the Arcane Gashas you will
have four lots of 10 charges for your Arcane Transmutor. Use these to
merge runes, improve your equipment and become a legend on the
battlefield.

Additionally, you may find one of the following items in one of the four Arcane Gashas:

Arcane Gasha (Weapon) + 16 Rubies: 35 Diamonds

Phoenix's Redemption
Big Angel's Sigh
God's Redemption Ticket

I'm no fan of gashas but im atleast happy there are no bad items in these like home swwet homes etc, with that said i wont be wasting any money on these, plussing is already a gamble and paying to gamble to try and get the jewel aswel??!! thanks but no thanks. the rest of the items i have no use for getting through gasha so on average fail sale for me. maybe someone will be happy about it.

Not everything inside is a discount but these are the most useful gashas I have seen in a super long time so ill be stocking up for sure.

This is not a jewel sale, this is a charge sale. As such, it is 35 dias for 40 charges, and that is high, considering that usual price is 36 dias with 16 rubies back. So, the only sale part is the random bonus item, and I am sure the chances of hitting the jackpot (as in the Jewel) are not that high.

So, happy that we went off sale rotation for once, but not with the sale itself.

Wow... just Gameforge proving once again that they don't listen. Gasha's? Are you kidding me? Out of everything we've asked for, you give us GASHAS again?

We NEED the +16 jewels for the new stuff, but what we DON'T need is to be forced to gamble for the 40-50+ that we need. This is ridiculous. Sell the s*** in a gasha if you want, but sell the effing jewels separately so we don't have to gamble for the jewels we use to gamble. Jesus christ. Does your sales team ever learn?

Never mind. The obvious answer is a resounding NO.

Someone actually asked for a gasha thread in 2 other threads a few weeks ago (think they were different ppl). They were being sarcastic, of course, although the sarcasm would only have been evident to the players.

But well, they did improve the gashas. Most of old gashas relied on luck to get your diamond's worth of item back, and in most cases you did not get it back. But this gasha is basically chance to get free items what you buy AT charges at full price, and get the rubies too (as requested millions of times). Would be decent if anyone needed those items.

While not a great sale, it is still an improvement on the other ones they have had recently. Still not enough to get me to buy diamonds just yet, but an improvement.

@shinyru there were bugged gashas once, which gave you every item in them everytime. I missed it though

The important part is "how big is chance of bonus". Gashas with low chance are bad deals. Those with high are good. So, instead of pontificating (mind, I can be a mean pontificator myself), how about some data points to help people make decisions?

I'll provide ones I know of:

1) 2 gashas, 1 bonus item, 1 of them jewel
2) 20 gashas, 9 bonus items, 2 of them jewels
3) 29 gashas, unknown bonus items, 6 of them jewels

So 29 gashas, or around 1K dias, for 6 jewels. If the jewels were just being sold alone, which is all people really want, those 1k dias could have gotten you 50 jewels.

Speaks for itself why gashas suck. Although for GF they're probably turning a pretty penny. I know several people in my guild alone have blown thousands of diamonds to +16 stuff. I think it's silly but to each their own.

Buying the gashas and then complaining about price of jewels is like saying "you know, those Lucky Charms makers totally ripped me off for the half a cup of marshmallows I got". It is missing the point.

I agree with conclusion, that the sale is not worth it, but it is not because of jewels. It is because of charges being full price. Still, everyone makes their own judgement of value, I am just trying to assist in making those decisions to be personal and rational.

I doubt they'll put up +16 jewels for a while. Their sales usually go in a rotation, and we had a +16 Faith sale not long ago (I wouldn't expect them to know the difference between faith and starsplinter).

I needed charges for a project, so I did the gotchas to see what the payout was.. 30 gotchas = 3 +16 jewels, so 1 in 10. Got mostly phoenixes & angel's sighs.. 1 daily quest ticket & 2 god's redemptions.

Well i needed the charges also, got free bonus items and sitting on 2500 Rubies, so i am happy, tyvm for this sale.

To the others who complained, would you have prefered a control C, control V sale once more? really?? like 30% off transport runes, etc? Give them a chance, they look like they are trying to try new stuff.

You won't always get what you want for a sale ;-)

As much as it disturbs me, I agree here. While it may not be the best best super duper sale in the world, it is a nice change and one that is welcome after months and months of copy paste sales. If we start to see some changes in the item shop, gasha's or not, at least they're trying to not copy paste sales and are instead listening a bit.
