Phirius Tokens as Currency

Maybe someone's already suggested this, but it occurred to me that since an extra page has been put into the character interface for the currency list ranging from Ancient Mementos to Energy of Justice to Siege and Arena-related rewards, etcetera, it left the Phirius Token Coins still sitting in all of our bags. Since they were always part of the Item Shop and are now being used for minigames and a couple other things, it'd probably be a small but certainly beneficial move to list those under the same page, right? Just a thought.

No. No no no no no no no. Please not.

Reason: When they moved Shells, points and mems over to the system they put a rather ridiculous unannounced limit on them. If you had over the limit saved up, too bad, you lose, and all of what you had saved up was reduced automatically. I have probably 10k tokens saved up for whenever I need them and have a small space saved in my bank for them. If I go over the space, I buy something to keep them in that allotted space. Knowing RW, they would bring them over to this new system but impose a really small limit on them, say the most expensive item in the PCoins shop which is only 2-3k. not cool and not fun. It was bad enough losing several thousand Honor points and a couple thousand PShells.

I think its a good idea.
As far as I know, Pshells were always capped at 1k, even before they added currency bag, and is still the same now. So, unless you were using an "special" method to save up over 1k shells, it is not be a problem. Mems have always been capped at 3k as well, and I don't think it was lowered with currency bag.

As for honor points, they were capped when honor gear was introduced, and had nothing to do with currency bag as far as I know.

The only limit I have seen them impose was the one for honor points which was always an intangible thing in game to begin with.
Mementos still had a 3k cap, phirius shells still had a 1k cap.

Given that a few items in the token shop cost 3k, the limit would be close to that if not more. In addition when they transitioned mentos/shells/PoMs you still kept the physical items until you right clicked them into the new system so you never "lost" that

But if you have 10k+ tokens that is over 10 bag slots dedicated to pure currency that you are obviously not using.
A real sysadmin knows how to change the time.
If you make the same mistake while trying to make up for the previous one, you are doing something wrong.

as sertet said, honor pts were the only thing that wasn't already an item that had to be kept in bp. also keep in mind that when the currency page was introduced, the other currencies DIDN'T automatically went into that page. they gave us an option there, either we can keep those currencies as items in the bp or right click them and remove them from the bp and keep them in the currency page instead. I imagine that if they introduce the pcoins in the currency page than they would give us the same option as well for it. so all u have to do is first find out if there is a cap introduced for pcoins or not and than right click it if there is no cap.

because i don't trust RW to not break it...also, the currency bag is just pointless imo...never really did anything but made proof untradable...

It definitely saved me a lot of bag space, at least 6 I think.

Imo, there should be an option that allows you to take out the proofs from you currency bag as well. The others are bound anyway, so no difference on those.

i never really had space issues, so no effect for me tbh...and if they put them in bag, they prolly gonna put a cap on ptokens, which is just stupid...

Ummm... caps and currency bags have nothing in common. Mems were capped when they were not in currency bag, still capped, at same level. Badges of honor were not capped, still not capped now that they are in bag. They can cap things and put them in bag separately.

yes, but i'm worried that if they try and "fix" something, they'll get some crazy ideas about what else they can do with it...

Phirius shells had issues when they were first introduced. When they were converted into the currency those issues have never reared their heads. If anything, this was one thing done right.

Proofs are less trade-able? They still drop as individual items unlike mems/shells/eojs. If someone added all of them to their bag without seeing how much they were spending that is it's own issue. I'm sure there will be other PoM events that will remedy those people having 3 PoM sitting in their currency bag.

But all of the worry about PoM is irrelevant concerning phirius tokens because they never could be traded or gifted away.
