Change future Easy/Normal instance Drops

Note: Important points bolded.
Aside from the enormous costs of this game, another major issue is the utterly boring grind for stats. Although this problem has been reduced a bit with XII stats (which now has an extremely low drop rate too), a major source of stats for the majority of the players is shell stats. Obtaining shell stats is simply a boring, repetitive grind that turns players away.

Players should be encouraged to go to instances for stats.

Easy Mode:

There's a great amount of potential for easy mode instances to help bridge the gear gap to allow players to progress to normal, and the current easy mode is only scratching the surface of that potential. For lower guilds, easy mode is actually sufficiently challenging to fulfill the desires of more casual guilds, and requires 3-4 players at least to be able to run it.

For others, its a nice alternative to do something not as boring as shells. However, as of right now, easy mode instances alone can only provide 1-2 filler stats, and cannot prepare a player for normal. A player must either buy stats and gear off the AH, or farm shells for them (which is extremely boring and again, turns players away).

Easy mode instances should drop enough of a variety of stats and useful gear to allow a group to progress to normal mode of the instance. More gear should drop with crit instead of magic accuracy (which is what is needed for PvE), and be 20% weaker than normal mode gear (approx on par with normal mode gear from 2 instances ago).

All decent stats (Dex/PA, stam/PA, etc.) that are available for shells should also drop in easy mode. But these stats dropped should be on par with those from the previous instance, as the purpose of this revamp is not to make Normal and Hard obsolete.


As of right now, there is also a problem preventing progress to Normal mode:

Instances on normal mode have such an insanely low drop rate of stats that it is simply undesirable for many progressing guilds. Even normal mode is an extreme challenge for most guilds, and requires devoting dozens of deaths before a boss clear. However, for the most part, players are rewarded with terrible loot drops for their hard work, and there is no motivation to push content.

The drop rate of decent stats in normal mode instances needs to be drastically increased so that almost ALL players in the party are able to get an item they like or could sell by the end of an instance clear.


New players are often turned off by the massive task of gearing ahead of them, both from the cost, and the boring grind of shells everyday in order to do so. Players NEED to be provided more alternative options that are actually feasible.


Everytime a player uses a stat, they have to use a Puri, and Gameforge makes profit. It simply does not make sense to prevent players from obtaining stats. Memento gear should have a decent chance of giving a decent stat; EoJ "best rewards" gear should have more than a 10% chance for a decent stat. And instances needs to be more appealing to progress to.
