You're right, too many people misinterpret or don't know how to read, makes things go off topic quicker.

Its been a few years since gashas first came out. The publisher still has no clue about the general playerbase's opinion - players don't want them attached to items such as +16 jewels.

The promo sucks, plain and simple.

Sure +16 is not needed but that's not the point at all.

The point is simple, if I want enhanced jewels I have to pay for something I may not want or may not be able to afford.

Many players have +16 gear and didn't have to pay out their buttholes to get it.

It is a cashgrab by my definition and it's the only definition that matters to me.

Suggestion, keep your gasha gambling option BUT add a buy just the jewels option.

I can kind of understand why most people are upset but at the same time, I ask myself why? I'd much rather see more useful items such as ABL's back in the IS permanently. Get the AH flooded with gear again and balance the economy.

Even if +16 jewels hit the IS permanently you would still have a rash of threads & complaints about the fail rate. So no matter what they decide to do they cannot make everyone happy. As my opinion above with the ABL's, same principle. You'll have people complaining that there gear that was listed for 250mil is now cut down to 100mil due to an abundance of them being for sale.

Of course people will always complain but you have to realize that some complaints are more serious than others.

It is hard to make everyone completely happy but it's easy to make everyone unhappy!

I may complain about a broken quest but I won't quit the game over it because I can understand fixing things takes time.

But if they keep making it so difficult and frustating to gear up I'll give up eventually.

I don't understand their logic. Perhaps they want to make things rare so they have a higher in game value. So people have to buy more diamonds to get the few items that are for sale. Maybe some bean counter said this was their best way to make money. I dunno.

What I do know is that if a company has a product I want, I shouldn't have to wait for sale to buy it or gamble to get it.

It's like going to mcdonalds and buying a combo meal and hoping you get fries. And you can't buy fries seperately. If you want fries you have to order a combo meal.

And if you do get fries there's a chance they may not be cooked. lol.

It just doesn't make any sense from my (the customer's) point of view.

Maybe I can understand a restaurant that doesn't sell fries on their menu but it's in one of their meals.

For some reason that makes sense to me, GF menu doesn't make sense to me. It's just frustrating and I'm tired of it tbh.

Whoever is deciding what's in the cashshop really needs to look at it from their customer's point of view and really imagine what they will think about it.

Mmmm me thinks I don't miss this arguing and such...I find it always easier to just pay for whatever you want use your money as you will you earned it! That being said I think everyone should enjoy whatever they get from this game and if it doesn't you can always just move on.

The sales team does not play RoM. They have no clue what we want. They don't care what we want. They just pick items and put them on "sale" and the admin team we get to see in the forums and in game just have to deal with it like we do, and then try to manage it all. Sucks for them that it's set up this way, IMO the admin team should be the ones running the item shop as well, since they know what we want.

I read this post thru and I and can kind of understand most peoples views. However, I do think Kalvan's comments about if we dont like the sale dont buy the items, is true but so not logical. From a business perspective it is absolutely ridiculous. And I do agree it is a cash grab, because there are people that will keep buying diamonds and keep buying Gashas just to get the jewels they need. GF knows this and it's why they do it. They would probably do just as well if not better sales, if they made the + jewels readily availabe like they should be, in my opinion. It's like people say ABL's are "on Sale" this weekend, that is never a true statement, for an item to be "on Sale" it has to be at a discounted price. When ABL's and other items not in the IM are placed in the IM it is just they are "available", not "on Sale".

There are a lot of players and I am one of them that do like to improve my toon and stat and + to the best that it can be so to speak. I buy diamonds and I am not F2P. I will not spend money on these gashas simply because they are to wasteful and I learned that the hard way, by buying a lot of them in the past. I would like to have +16 jewels but if the only way is to buy gashas then I will pass, and therefore not buy diamonds this time so GF will not get my money :).

Everyone plays the game for different reasons, but I dont care what some of you say, we all like to upgrade our gear. Personally I think to complete the instances you need decent gear or yes your being pulled along by those that do have it. I cant stand being pulled thru, I much prefer to be doing my share of damage and pulling my own weight within the party. I do not have to be the best DPS there is, that is not important to me as long as my toon is well statted and I am playing it to the fullest a M/S can be.

If I am not able to run instances because I am not able to upgrade my gear then it will be time to quit. I like a challenge and I dont care how often I die while learning the strats if there is a option , that I will get new gear and can UPGRADE to the fullest I am happy. Even running Instances for stats is fine, because it allows you to improve your toon. If there is no point in the dying over and over then the game would be terribly boring for me.

If only GF reverse the order of the gasha as to guarantee one +plusser to drop, forget the ruby bonus, and have a chance to get the other items as a bonus, then the weekend sale would be a deal, otherwise i would just be wasting my money to have a chance of a chance to upgrade my gear. I bought diamonds on the sale yesterday only because of hoping they would have some DRT on sale and xp/tp event for this holiday. If no sale or event , it would be last time i am spending my money on this game.
