New mini game.

Doing the same mini games over and over for shells gets extremely boring and is more of a chore then a fun experience. Change tempest heights into a survival mode where you can get armor drops. But make it a pay to enter zone tokens or diamonds. Pay 50 tokens or 5 diamonds to enter the fight. I would like for it to be a diamond to enter zone. The mobs could drop armor allowing players another way to get geared. And since you are paying diamonds the drops should be quality.

No more token cost games please >.< Already takes 150 tokens a day to do all mini's...and you only get 100 from dailies -_-

I think he wants Tempest Heights to replace minigames.

Imo, I still prefer if they fixed the whole system so the main way to progress gear is run instances. It just doesn't make sense for the main way to progress being boring minigames...

I would like for a new area, i just used tempest as a example. But i would like to pay diamonds to enter a area that a single person could go into and find gear for them self that you can actually wear. I just think buying gear to run a instance is terrible. Or farm shells for a year to buy gear and by the time that happens half your set is out of date and you never get to run instances. Next update should have a mini you can solo and get worthy gear. Paying a 10 diamond entry fee would be no problem. They have to fix the gearing system in some way. People are leaving and they will shut down servers. just trying to make a way to keep people playing and having fun.

Let's fix some of the current minigames we have to scale a bit better with level instead of adding new ones. They did a great job with Goblins, what about Survival, Course of Terror? Same with the "I want to Survive" and "Call of the Horns" minigames from the Drill Grounds. While I understand they're mini-games and not supposed to be hugely challenging, having some element of challenge would be nice.

Same with gear drops from the packs you get from Siege War. they're stuck on Level 50. Why not beef them up with level 70+ gear, or make them scale with your current class level. Open a package when you're level 80, you get level 80 gear. Open them when you're 40, you get level 40 gear. Have a chance of pulling two good green stats or one decent yellow one from the gear instead of one crappy one (having a small chance to pull a bag stat, anyone?).

Let's not add new minigames. As Cammo mentioned, there are so many it's time consuming and prohibitively expensive to run them all. We just got a new one with the Snowflake festival, if you didn't notice anyway, go run that one for a while.

Imo, the whole system relies too much on minigames for gear. Minigames aren't fun to farm everyday for a year, period. Even if you change them to scale to level, they still aren't fun to farm everyday for a year. I'd prefer if they changed instances so that minigames are done for a filler stat when you need one; the fastest way to progress gear should still be to run instances.


And if you didn't have to farm minigames EVERYDAY out of necessicity for gearing, they might actually be fun...

Anyone else notice that we have 1 thread currently running about making the game easier on new players and this thread's comments are about making it harder on new players. Without mini games new players gear much much slower as only 1 or 2 guilds on most servers can clear endgame instances. Mini games provide decent gear but it is not as good as instance gear. I see no reason to change the way things are.

I agree and disagree with your suggestion. I still like the idea of "shell gear" I do not use it but there are many people that need too. Shell gear may not be fun to get since mini games are boring but it does provide free to play players with a inexpensive way of getting good gear that can all come OD. They can use this gear to raid in HM groups to then get the "best" gear.

Which is why I suggested to leave shell gear/farming minigames untouched. It will still be available, as it is now, but gearing via running instances will be made more tempting.
