Enhanced Nebula Jewel - Discussion [Happy Hour Sale - Feb 11, 2014]

You would rather set the prices of 12-16 stones to cost the players $80 bucks to get all your gear from +12 to +16. Thats $80 real dollars to take every pice of your gear to +16. If you make them affordable people will buy them. If you price them like a insane person people will just not buy them. So not only do you not get any money from them, players will quit. People who spend money will spend the same amount if things are not priced to high. But putting the cost of things that high will drive people away. I hope it was some sort of mistake. Way to kill the game.

I wish i spoke german. And honestly i dont know anyone who is buying stones at these prices. No one should they are pricing things way to high. With the decline of people you could easily bolster populations by making the game cheaper to play. Im going to spend what i spend. But if they are going to charge that much and give less to the players. I would rather pay a fee per month and play a game that has a population. I know 2 good players that i know paid money to play who quit this month one when the stones first went on sale and another today. Its sad to watch.

there are a couple people, on these and the other forums, that are very outspoken about their appreciation of GF's management of the game, i suspect GF is listening to the positive encouragement from these people, and just kinda labeling the disgruntled majority as "haters"...

but since people will buy them, GF will sell them, so as long as a few p2w players keep buying the items at ever increasing prices, GF will keep selling them at ever increasing prices...either everybody stops buying(2 things can happen: game shuts down or IS rework), or we all just lrn2deal with the higher prices that the p2w minority keeps driving...

tl;dr: don't hate GF for taking advantage of suckers, hate the suckers that enable GF to rip everybody off...

I think the more obvious thing is they are trying to get the players who spend the most on the game to spend more. My opinion. :) And again, if they do this with the enhanced jewels, and are successful in their eyes, chances are they'll do it with something else.

I agree with the guy above this post. But what good is it if you drive off players. Would you want one guy that spends 100 a year but get rid of 20 guys that spend 20 a year?

like i said, they are taking advantage of the suckers that will actually pay the price, and the rest of us suffer for it.

because those people that spend "$100" a year actually spend a couple thousand dollars a year(yes, i do know people that spend that much money on this game, heck, i know people who have spent more money in on this game their 3+ years of playing than it costs you to buy a car nowadays...kinda sad when u can actually compare playing a video game to buying a brand new car in terms of cost)...

from what i can see, SiS is really nice and engaged. while she seems to be at least trying to forward the player's opinions/complaints/bitching, nothing has come of it thus far. i assume that is due to something later down the chain than SiS, because she actually seems like she is trying :P

she is still one of the most active CM's i have seen under GF management(and maybe before), as a quick look at her post count can tell you that, so i take that as a good sign of things to come(at least EN and ES sides).

There are still a bunch of players that i see all the time. Ive played for a long time and the game is good enough. If its failing, its because of the people running it. Not the players because we play and anyone new to the game would find tons of content. Im still working on getting my guy hardmode ready. But with prices of things going so high i dont know if i want to continue. With the population going down, make things cheaper the people playing will spend more freely. And the new players coming in will be able to get a toon that they can lvl with and run instances, and be part of the community. I will make t10 gear if i could. Making things cheaper is not going to earn them less money. It will only earn them more because people will want to beast out if they can afford to. Its not going to ruin the game. Pricing things to the point of making people quit is. I guess thats the last point i can make on this.

Change the price of +12-16 stones so it doesnt cost $80 bucks to plus gear.

It would take $80 real monies to take all your gear from 12-16. Pricing things like that only makes people leave the game. With the decline of population charging people more to get less only makes people leave. More people would play the game if you would make it cheaper. Its not like im going to spend less money on cheaper things. But if things are cheaper im going to spend more freely because i would be getting more for my buck. And thats not only +ing stones. I know the one guy got fired but i bet this one is not far behind with those prices. (other post was deleted.)

  • Was not deleted. Title was changed and was moved to feedback - shop content. Condescending comment was very unnecessary upon that 2nd merge. He thought the post/discussion was deleted. I thought the same thing initially. The title was changed after all.
