eh...why?

rage is easy to maintain(at least easier to regen in the middle of a fight) in battle, and before you enter a fight, there are various ISS/skills/pots/items u can use to build up rage...

from what i can see, u want to do great burst dps(until pool is empty) then have to wait, and wait, and wait until u can use skills again?

Uh, no thanks. Rage generation works just fine.

If you're having trouble generating Rage, use the plain "Attack" skill near the beginning of your fight - it will take you in to cloce melee combat range where your Rage will generate faster.

Well, wr/ch uses a lot of HP. I don't think rage should be a problem. U want to generate rage u need to be in close combat. Ofc for a non tanking warrior rage might be a problem after the 1st 30 secs but even so i don't consider it to be a problem. As long as you have an alternative pool like HP/Mana/Focus/Energy rage is not a problem. Ofc u will encounter shortages but so does all non mana classes.

As for CH/x as tank i rage generation beats both energy and focus.

I believe when he said Warrior/Champion, he was supposed to say something along the lines of "Change Warrior AND Champion rage generation"
Cammo (82 M/82 W/82 R) 116,147 unbuffed Matk :D (95k pa - r/m)

be better to have full rage b4 going into battle in SW...
quick bursts are better in PK.

plus why should warriors be limited to have to use rage pots before the fight

another suggestion would to give warriors a skill that maxes rage generation (with like a 30sec cd)
ik there's an item set skill with this but it would be easier to just make it a new skill

As far as I know, Bruce Banner is the only person that goes around in a full state of Rage - although well controlled.

As you fight, you get hit and you get angry, generating Rage.
Real life works the same.

The only think i am not sure about rage is how does it scale with weapon speed. From what i read u get usually 7 rage / sec which depends on the weapon attack speed. So from what i understood if i have a weapon with a stock speed of 3 every time my white attack connects i get 21 rage, right?
But how is the rage regeneration affected by melee speed effect. If i have active
speed 3 weapon * strong stim * 10% raid = 3 *0.75*0.9 = 2.025
in burst faze when my weapon connects every 2 seconds, how much rage do i get, 14 or 21? :/

any reference to real life in a game is ridiculous
are you saying people can go invisible in real life...
I mean honestly, you referenced a marvel character and then tried to make the point that this is more realistic (dunce alert)

warriors can surprise attack and then have to wait for rage to generate. they can spam secondary skills but that's fairly reliant on the secondary class.
all the warrior moves have the same low damage as scout. compared to any other class, that can immediately use their primary moves, warriors are at the disadvantage.
if a noob lv 70 wd with quest gear (me) can take out an endgame 82/75 war/rogue with the latest gear you know the class is unbalanced. (DO NOT NERF WARDENS THOUGH)
giving warrior's rage the same generation as energy/focus would be a simple modification that would balance the game

lmao @ same low damage...let's compare highest damage instants, shall we? heck, u bring a medium damage instant and compare to my high damage instant and we'll see how balanced it is...

seriously, warriors have a steady regeneration of their pool. they are probably the easiest to manage mid-late fight, you just lack the burn pool(and even then, like I said, there are items/skills that can fix this easily...

How about using a Rage pot before entering battle? Build/rebuild your Rage from there.

People are mostly complaining that they are "forced" to use rage potions at the start of fights unlike other classes where it isnt' a requirement to use a potion to access their main class attack skills.

However, as already stated there are plenty of items to fix this.

Also, why would you want it to work the same? If you change the energy system why not call it another rogue?

Rogues have a charge (item set skill), they have control skills like warriors (SP, sneak attack, elite skills), they have "combo" skills (wound attack + bleeds), they have increased survivability skills (evasion, blind stab vs defense formation/survival instinct). What the hell would the difference be between a rogue and a warrior aside from aoe skills if you change how the "skill resource system" work? They wouldn't be identical but they would be far too similar.

Warriors regenerate rage at 6/7 per second regardless of weapon speed. Most rage skills, compared with energy skills, consume fewer points. Rogues regen energy at what, 7 per second as well? Something in that range iirc. So in fact rage system is more beneficial on long fights AND warriors (and champions) have skills that increase rage regen rate. Champions have forge which adds 10 per auto hit so around 3 outside of burn phase, and warriors have aggressiveness. Rogues get yawaka blessing -- i'm not sure how effecetive that is but I imagine it is not better then forge/aggressiveness so let's call that one equal.

You also get VN cape which has a 2min cooldown. I don't see rogue using a vn cape too often to get full energy or scouts/warlocks for full focus, so on bursts warrior again have advantage. Focus regens slower while moving, and energy doesn't regen when you take damage...

I quite like the way the rage system works and see no reason to modify it, unless you want to increase the rate at which you regain.

Huh, what? Warriors do not "regain" rage. they start at 0 and gain it through hitting or being hit, mostly through being hit. What warriors do do is lose rage at a rate that is excessive, we lose rage faster than rogues or scouts regain energy or focus, so whatever rage we do gain is rapidly lost. So, if you think that warriors skills cast less than rogues or scouts you are not taking into account that we are constantly losing rage all the time. If a warrior wants to use his warrior skills he either has to stand there taking damage, or be a drug addict.

my personal option would be that skills consume less rage than the situation atm. i understand that some skills r powerful enough, but giving a cost of 50 rage for example is somehow ridiculous, since in order to re-build that rage u need to spend about 4secs afk. a modification of skills to cost 10-30(max, eg whirlwind, mooncleave etc) rage maybe could solve the issue.

This is the second time i hear this! During combat, even if a party mate is in combat mode, you don't lose rage, u don't gain either, true, but go and help him and generate some more :D

Also overall, warrior skills consume less rage per %DPS than rogue skills consume energy!

Interesting...I do not party so did not know that if party member was in combat I would not lose rage. Maybe I need to haul an alt around with me. Going solo, however, it is an issue.

in combat, no rage is lost...just like how in combat no psi is lost..I'd recommend CC'ing a lvl 1 mob running around then go about your business...

I use restore energy(i think thats what its called) when the countdown is going down before the fight starts. Then after i attack and drop some rage, i use strength of battle. Then i usually dont have any problems with long fights.
