First, I want to say this is
not meant as a complaint thread. I am very happy with the many things I got from the various anniversary events. I don't play this game assuming I will get special sales and/or bonuses. They are, well, special, and I appreciate them.
That said, my suggestion is to shift the timing of the daily Easter sales. From what I've read here in the forum, the biggest discounts come out at noon Eastern time. For those of us at work (who are often the ones who can afford to buy diamonds) and many others at school, we will never be able to benefit from these sales. Why not run them at the same time as the usual Happy Hour sales? The servers are much more crowded then, and more people can benefit from the sales. Yes, I understand that yesterday's 79-diamond perfect armor plussers sold out very quickly, but I also know from asking around that a big reason for that was a few people with lots of gold and/or diamonds buying them out rather than a lot of people getting to benefit. By the time I was home to play, I only saw the ones for 199 diamonds. Later, some limited-supply ones came up for 139 or 159 diamonds, but it was still a lot more expensive than the earlier sale and a bit too pricey for me.
Yes, of course I'm disappointed I missed out on a great sale like that, and I would also love to be able to benefit from today's house sale. But I'm not posting this to QQ that I didn't get "fair" treatment or whatever. I'm just throwing it out there for discussion to see what others think about the timing. As I said above, I believe the timing of the typical Happy Hour sales is better. Alternatively (or maybe in addition), would it be possible to have sales like this incorporate an NPC to limit purchases per account? I know that's how the diamond trader NPCs worked when they briefly appeared. I don't remember the exact numbers, but each account was limited to a certain number of diamond purchases from the NPC each day.
Okay. Back to work for me.
I look forward to reading your responses when I get home tonight.
