Siege War Buffs

I was wondering if its possible to have the individual buffs you get in SW like 'Will of Honor' (increases merits earned) a persistent buff during a SW. 'Refine Steel' and the other group buffs remain when you leave SW and come back. I don't know how many times I've had to waste merits on getting rebuffed because I've crashed out but the group buffs remain.

Very irritating indeed. The things you loose upon crash during SW: individual buffs, merits in your backpack, other SW items (scrolls, electric/fire towers etc.). Anything else?

Not a new suggestion, but indeed: it would be really great if they were preserved and re-appeared after you re-joined the SW (definitely after a crash, but also after leaving a SW and re-joining etc.).

They would have to do somethign similar to how herald works when you exit/reenter -- tag each character who gets any sw personal buff like will of honor, and when they re enter they can talk to drill grounds to get it again, or just automagically get it.

The reason refine steel and such a persistent is because they are team wide. There must be some different checks for thsoe compared to a personal buff such as will of honor.

Imo merits and aoes and shizz should be a buff/or item that lasts one hour. This way even if you get an aoe/merits 2 minutes into she by the time the war ends you will lose them as other merits stacking in tip will automatically go to the time of the original merits(like housemaid pots) aswell as making the items sw only si they can't be used in pve at all.

I would like to see a version of SW where you only live once. 30 minutes long and once you die your out. I bet everyone would be a lot more cautious.

do you even have any hope of killing anything on p/k besides undergeared/non-lvlcap noobs? or balloons, i guess you could prolly kill balloons too.

ur prolly right though about d/wdn vs. p/k xD

I Would just wait till everyone else is dead then switch to mage gear and kill everything. :p

Lol yeah it'd be silly but interesting if that actually was how siege worked xD

i'd rather have scaled SW.

every1 gets de-leveled to lvl 50, all skills cap at 50(keep 60 and 70 elites though), and u get white gear and u can choose a set of stats to get with it(kinda like arcanium arena, but u don't keep upgrading, or it could work like picking the quest sets). guards, towers, and mid balloons scaled to lvl 50. everything else stays as is.

@ blankminded's first post. They stem from the forge and a re guild wide (you know that already), upon re-entering siege the system check and says what buffs are guild wide? It then applies those a the appropriate level. Same thing with godspeed. Only difference is godspeed is dependent on the stable staying alive. Where as the forge buffs sustain when the forge is destroyed, doesn't make sense to me. Although it sure has saved my guild a few times.

On topic: I am not the first one to say this. I'm not the last either. Make them last 1 hour, usable only in siege war and bound. Or an even better idea, when you crash/disconnect. Leave the player in siege. Don't port them out. Although that's probably more difficult to do code wise then the item modification. a simple if statement on the item that checks zone ID when you use it will work.
