Beating a Dead Horse (+16 Jewels)

Yeah so this has been said plenty of times.. but it's really getting to the point where it's ridiculous and I know too many people that are tired of this issue persisting.

There should always be +16 jewels in the item shop. Not the Perfect +16 jewels, not the master +20 jewels. Just normal lvl 90 +16 jewels that have a chance of failing. You can make them twice as expensive as the +12 jewels for all I care, I just want to be able to finish my gear when I feel like finishing it... Not waiting 4 months for +16's to come on sale so I can finally finish that piece that has been sitting in my bag for so long. I have thousands of diamonds just sitting because I can't do anything with my gear until I finish plussing it...

Plussing is the single most limiting factor on finishing gear. I know a lot of endgamers stock up on them and horde them which is the biggest problem, but that is only because they are so rare. It used to be easy to find people willing to +16 your gear for a price, now you are lucky if you can find anyone to even admit to having the gems much less willing to use a few on your gear.

It doesn't take a whole lot of brain power to realize that they need to be regular items and that if they were they would pull in a boat-load of money..You can still put the perfects out on special sales or whatever but just put the regular ones in all the time.. You guys just must hate money.

That's exactly why they make it rare... And exactly what they're gleefully wanting to hear...
Kudos to the new IS team for being so effective unlike the old one that knew nothing about what they're supposed to do. I wonder if they got a raise after those easter sales... Profits must have broken records...

I don't care what they cost just put them on the item shop always. I'll pay the price.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why this game is overpriced.

in all honesty, this is really the base of most of the current problems.

the p2w system in RoM is in and of itself the single most self-destructive aspect of the game.

Either way they really should be in the IS....like almost all other items. But then this has been said what...hundreds of times now? :/

Well i have to agree with Mongo on this, yes i said it, can't believe it myself, but +16 jewels should always be in IS at regular price. For the people who want them or can afford them, then at least when they come on special, we actually see the numbers. The perfects could be in the ruby shop too, at least available.

ABL's/RAE's and APS also, just put them there at regular price, sales will go up and people will buy them.

Also would like to see a drop in other IS items by 50%, like planting stuff, crafting stuff, pet stuff that is all just ridiculously high prices for nothing.

BTW i know Mongo like me buys his own diamonds, it's not like he'S gonna get them from other players to get them, he won't be breaking the economy at all, just getting what he wants with his own money and i am good with that.

I agreeing with Mongo, ya the end of the world is here, run!!!!!!

Yeah because a hand-full of people hypothetically paying more than they should for something in the future is why this game has been overpriced for the last 3 years. Sound logic.

I spend my own money on this game which is the goal right? They wan't people to spend money on their game. Right now they are not letting me spend my own money on their game because a KEY item is missing from regular purchase.

Regardless, they need to be in the item shop at a static price. Then when you want to put them on sale it's actually a sale..

ok...how about this.

you say, and do, pay XX dias for an item. item goes out of the shop for a bit. comes back for XXX dias. since you "need" that item, you are still gonna buy it for XXX dias. now they sell that item during frequent sales for XXX dias. it goes out of the IS for a bit. people plead with GF to put them back in the IS. oh, they do. for XXXX dias.

and people will still buy it.

logic dictates that GF *should* sell items for as high as people are willing to pay for it. so every time you buy an item for a certain price, you are essentially saying "this is an OK price for this item, so go ahead GF, keep selling them at this price", but since GF is trying to get more money, they will slightly increase the cost until the item does not sell/massive backlash, and then, and only then, they know when they have reached the peak price of the item. apparently we still have not reached that point yet.

you can say "don't like the price, don't buy it". so people don't. they realize they have had enough and just leave. but for those that are left, GF knows that they will pay the price that they have set.

the same pattern has been going on since the entire IS revamp.

the cost of the game and population have been inversely proportional for years. i do not think it is mere coincidence.

my only request to GF if they wanna keep screwing the players is if they could at least do it a bit more discreetly.

Get a job and pay for your addictions, noobs.

Mongo is too right on this issue.

Luckily, I've always had a good paying job to pay for my RoM addiction. Unlike most people that think p2w isn't a real thing on here.

I refuse to get a job to buy useless junk on this game. P2W is for scrubbies like Scrubcalibur.

I always lived healthy and enjoyed 5 wonderful years of playing RoM. But your post gave me cancer anyway.

I'd like to see some acknowledgement of this or an explanation why they aren't up normally by someone who is actually employed by GF. Maybe someone from the sales team can pop in and give a reason why they are soooooooooooooooooooooooooo rare. Seems like +16's should be made regular items now that we are moving into +20 territory.

This game isn't free. I'll pay the price if I can just do things I want to do WHEN I want to do them without waiting forever.
