More Costumes

I know when I throw this out, the 'Circle of Hate' will have a field day ripping this apart... but I think it would be great to see more outfits. I think it would be great to see, each week, one or two old ones on sale in the diamond or ruby shop and one new one. Put them up over the weekend or put them up for a couple of days during the week, it really doesnt matter. I understand not putting them all up at once, as much as I would love that.

Get the folks who are interested in outfits LOOKING AT THE STORE whenever they login. It might be a great idea to ask the community what type of outfits they would like to see, or even to have folks in the community submit pictures or ideas... get the folks involved.

Just my two cents. It's not something that is going to make a toon overpowered, but it is another way to generate revenus and keep the community connected.

Another interesting idea would be to have an outfit gasha. I can feel the blood pressures rising now. The gasha would contain an entire outfit, but you wouldnt know what you are getting. The one thing it would need, however, is to have programming that would not allow an account to get outfits it has already purchased. It would even be ok to have outfits that look like equipment we have seen since the beginning, but the player would have the entire outfit...

If I ran a game, I would put out a costume every week. It does not cost much to build, and people will just keep buying and buying something that does not even affect gameplay. I don't know why they don't flood us with the costumes they already have. Free money imo.

Agreed. That is exactly where I am with this. This is one of those 'feel good' things within the game. I'm sure it takes development, but pushing things like this out could be a big win for this game.

Agreed with this, and they should sell more weapon skins too, maybe even skins for Champion shield form so you get different looking Shield forms. I still think RoM should focus less on selling power, and more on selling non-power related items. And getting RW to focus on making more, and the sales team to start focus on selling them would be a nice first step. Only problem is that they'll still charge the same amount for power, so It'll cost more money to play the game if you want power AND costumes.

While we are on this subject, I would like a way to buy my next costume tab that does not rely on buying dias directly from GF. I have 150 slots (3 tabs) and almost all of them are filled. I need some way to buy costume tab 4, or even if new costumes come out I won't be able to buy them since I have no way to store em anymore.

Yes, I'm aware I could just buy dias from GF (tab 4 costs 89 i think), but I would like there to be an alternative as well.

Cheaps ;-) actually you can thank Nutsack and suckcode for that, apparently that is the item they were using to dupe stuff in game, not Gameforge fault on this one. But not being a fan of Barbie, i do agree that they should release a new costumes every week or so, the database as plenty of them to offer, unless they put them up for 300 diamonds per piece loll, would not surprise me either. But to those that this kind of thing appeals too, it could be fun for them.

They may have used costumes to dupe stuff , I don't know how to do it but I would think they needed other things as well . Didn't see them take all the other things outa game .

Well those were the only items they could use to cheat the game since they never could play it anyways. So that is why those items were completely removed from the diamonds shop side. But they could probably add them to the ruby shop since those were apparently not involved in the crap they pulled since they are still in the ruby shop. So they should really add them to ruby shop and make everyone happy ;-)

I bought a Flower Fairy, but I couldn't bring myself to go Coffee Maid. No, just no. Give me the opportunity to buy all of the above and I will.

How about an outfit or several that look like full body tattoos?

I would like to add a request that new outfits be reasonable in price of diamonds.

One of the great aspects of Runes of Magic is there is a lot of customization. It is a loss of money for gf to not expand on one of the better aspects of the game.

So I am online yesterday afternoon and I see that we are going to get a few outfits in the item shop. Exciting, two of the pnes I had posted earlier (Blessed Knight and War Dragon).

I get home to see that I can buy pieces, but that these pieces are 45 diamonds each. I would have hoped to be able to buy an entire outfit for 129-149 diamonds, instead i find myself buying a few pieces.

Not what I would have recommended, but still better than no outfits at all. Putting up pieces is certainly ok, but there should be a discount when buying the package. Just a thought.

In any case, please keep the costumes coming.

new costumes is definitely good. and the fact they are pieces are even better. however, price is a bit steep. considering for the current price of 2 pieces, i could buy the whole set previously.

i am not really a fan of GF's new marketing scheme. game was a whole lot cheaper in frogster days(at least for US side), and not even only for the fact that the game required less mods. i know we are having our prices "normalized" with EU side, and for some of it, it's better(puries). for alot of other stuff, we are definitely getting the short end of the stick(recons, aggs, abls, etc).

we could just ask thalia how IS normalization went for them...

I really like the costumes in this game, especially that they come in pieces so I can mix and match. Sometimes the colors are a bit wonky though...if a costumes has 3 colors, but I can only change 2 of them or sometimes the color vibrancy isn't that great... but overall I think they make the customization fantastic here. Definitely would love to see and buy more costumes.
