Champion shield form

please make shield form smaller!!!
the large shield form transformation takes up too much of the screen preventing champs from seeing much other than the giant blue robot
particularly in instances when the camera zooms in as you turn a corner, I cant see a thing!

the problem is mostly because shield form is so wide. i dont mind the huge height but making it so wide as well takes up half of my screen

could you scale down shield form or scale it to the the height of the dwarf
shorter dwarf is smaller shield form
or change the item set skill of Disassemblary mod (convert 80% stam to strength)
to something identical to shield form just another transformation?

While the option to use pirate potion and transformation potions is there yes i agree MAKE THEM smaller i hate trying to tstorm and i end of not able to click cuz i have a robot behind me and i end up clicking on them

What would be interesting would be to make Shield form a first-person view of the Dwarf in the cockpit. :))

I'll second OP. Shield form is way too huge and blocks half the screen for both the dwarf and others around him. ROM has plenty of other robot models, running around in HOS or just outside, in Tagena/Southern SL. Use one of those.

On the other hand, love the other robot form, the disassembly one..

agreed with both OP and rusty.

shield form is kinda big(transform pot does help, but not a real solution), as well as the fact that the other mode just looks epic.

mages should stack dex. word.

If you have acquired the title "Move along, Goblin!" from trading in Champion Badges from doing the Goblins mini game, you can use a macro to swap to the title and transform to goblin form. This won't cost you anything [other than the time to do the minis...but you should be doing these daily anyway :) ] and is an easy way to mask the shield form.

Sure, it's a work around but it's free.

that and frog pots from housemaid.

the issue people on EU side have is the buff cap. since frog pot/goblin title is really a cosmetic buff, as well as the fact that champs have multiple 2-part buffs(base buff and stacks), they can't really afford to use transform pot/skill to hide shield form.

imho, priority is kinda low on the issue, but shud be addressed at some point.

yeah frog, goblin, and pirate fixes the problem but shield form is actually pretty cool.
why give it any animation if you're just going to suggest to mask it.

another idea would be to add an interface setting that checks to view shield form and unchecks to hide it.

wardens have buffs from oak that doesnt give effect so why not just give champ a buff. animation not needed

make it smaller or just make it an invisible buff.

Like everyone else I agree that shield form is a bit too big, especially when you are herald! And it gets inconvenient to take off a transformation pot just to be able to ride a mount again and truth be told it is wasteful. But like others said it isn't a major, i'm gonna quit right now sort of deal but would be nice if something was done to make it a bit different! :wbb: :beer: :phatgrin:

maybe rom could host an event:
submit designs for the new shield form
winner gets dias or just the pleasure of knowing their work improved shield form
could make a poll to judge or just have RoM judge it themselves.

this would liven the game!!!
