Runes of Magic US / AU

I just came back to the game after a year+ break. I got rid of everything I owned before I left. We had a few chances to get X runes on sales, sometimes through Gashas. I, myself, had 3 x runes (and one non-X rune) on each piece of my gear. Like I said, I got rid of all my stuff a year ago and I'm looking at AH and there aren't many X runes on there. There are a few Block X runes on the ah. They sell from anywhere between 3x to 5x the amount they were when I left.

We did have a rune sale recently...a VII and VIII rune sale. This isn't good enough for me (by my own standards, admittedly) and, more importantly, it isn't fair for new players who weren't around to buy the X runes at a more reasonable price.

It wouldn't be a problem if the prices of everything increased and decreased with the price of diamonds. Unfortunately, due to them being "discontinued", as of writing this, the prices of these runes have increased faster than diamonds. The price of diamonds now are 160% of what they were when I left. The prices of these runes, as based on the Block X rune, is around 300% to 500%. And that is the only X rune available on my server...not counting the two Curse X runes which are ridiculously priced...

I don't think it is fair for new players to not have the same opportunity that older players had to purchase gear modifications, that are effectively permanent (how are you going to upgrade an X rune), at the same price.

That's why I mentioned recons and said that "the rest" haven't really changed price. Recons are the only ones that have.
