really? in the wheel now(at least EU side, I assume here too)...

I'm honestly disappointed in GF(big surprise)...

took something that players have been asking them NOT to do and essentially did it anyways...

Hm..these are called Tempered jewels.

I currently cannot check myself but, does anyone know how these are different from the +20 jewels we had from the secret garden?

Iirc the ones we had from secret garden were 12 - 20 jewels that could fall below 16 (obviously)

they are 16-20... sigh bad move, but I guess if they are gonna put them in people will use them

however only looks like wings and weapon gems atm, NM after a spin they changed and I saw accessories and armor gems.

For anyone who's taken their chances and spun the wheel, hows the success rate of pulling one of those gems so far?


I personally love +20 gems. Just means more powah for my mage lol

Buuuut i understand the argument about how Runewaker may make instances harder by using +20 as the standard

As soon as they released it from garden I knew it was a matter of time before hey put it in IS.
Not surprised. At least they learned how to not put them in gashas but still making you spend diamonds for a chance to get it, just as if they were in a gasha lol. I'm pretty sure in a month or 2 they'll just straight up sell them in the IS as a sale.

Well true that the ones complaining about this are the ones who DO NOT BUY their own diamonds. So they cannot actually use the wheel and it is so unfair to them, mouhahahaha, put your hands in the air like we don't care!! Whoop whoop! !! it'S cool that the people supporting the game and servers to stay open actually get a little extra, tyvm gameforge!!!

lol, i hadn't even considered that purely ftp people wouldnt be able to buy spins with other dias.

I'm just against selling +20 jewels in general since it would raise the "standard" for gearing/doing things in general if everything is balanced based on people having them...which in turn, makes the game more expensive to keep up with.

Zid, it isn't because people are f2p, I am not, yet I am still against this. I know in your mind Gameforge can do no wrong, but releasing these jewels, will turn Pillars of Morfan into another Grotto burn-fest. At least for the moment it's still a very hard burn. Yes thank you for releasing them GF, I do like stuff that makes me stronger (Transformation pot sale plz!) however, my concern is that +20 will once again place people too far ahead of the current endgame instance.

Well if i am correct they have plussing jewels up to level 24 in the database. I don't mind the +20 jewels at all, if you are willing to take a risk of getting them because you support the game, i'm good with that. F2P are already OP and don't support the game, maybe they can reach in their pockets and do something good for the game.

As a paying customer i expect to get things that non-paying customer can't get, for me it is logical, but i also dress in a green wabbit suit when i play ROM, so ya. ;-)

that being said, I am a paying customer as well, so I don't see your point zid. I still don't want +20 jewels...

I would be glad if RoM changed their IS dependence to cosmetic/convenience just like every other f2p game with cash shop is...

I farm everyday, plant on 12 toons, petcraft on as many toon, blacksmithing at 88, Carpentry at 89, armorcrafting at 92, tailoring at 93, alchemy at 86, cooking at 94, all gathering at 100 on one per toon.

I welcome the +20 jewels with open arms, btw, if you don't want them, don't buy them and have a very nice day.

But Zid the problem is if we don't buy them now then we won't be up to the standards that will be required in the next/new instance (which could very well be the one released today... what a coincidence that they were both "released" on the same day) and won't be able to run it since it requires +20 gear

I could also be completely wrong and this is just another crazy theory

Hm, nevermind then, I'll wait til they inevitably end up on sale in the item shop as a guaranteed item. My weapon is already +20, with a few pieces +17 and +18 from secret garden anyways

Well the new instance won't probably open on all servers anyways, you got give 200M to open it, then 600K tier 4 stones and 200K tier 5 stones, not sure the population on other servers will be able to do that sadly.

+20 will become available in IS for sure so people should expect it. More money for Gameforge for sure, so why wouldn't they?

I can think of 1 huge reason why they shudn't...

because there have been multiple threads(across multiple communities) asking them NOT to do exactly what they seem to be doing. a company that doesn't have a monopoly and disregards customer input might as well not exist for how long its gonna last.
