Tiered Stats

Here's a possible for a huge moneymaker for GF & get people to run at-level instances more: Stat Tiering

3x of the same stat = stat +1 tier up to +10, using 1 AT charge

so, let's say you get a Mage XIII @ 150 stam/375 matk

3x Mage XIII = Mage XIV
3x Mage XIV = Mage XV
3x Mage XV = Mage XVI
...

Whatever the values RW wants to provide in the game for those future stats would then be updated every time a new zone comes out, so it'd be pretty easy to keep up to date.

This would boost Charges & Puri sales & helps statting for new instances using old instance drops.

Some possibility for ruining the ability to create banana stones here...

Still, greta suggestion but potentially leading to more OPness ingame as people tier the stat up and up and up.

I'd suggest that any yellow or green stat upgraded in this fashion become a grey version stat that becomes invalid for upgrading.

Also, I'd prefer to see it as 4 or 5 stats required to make the upgrade, not just 3, since 3 mana stones of the same tier give a better mana stone.

In addition to the cautions that Inferiority mentioned (a staggering increase in OP-ness by already OP players, too few stats needed to upgrade to the next tier), it could also lead to both abuse by unscrupulous gold-grubbing players, bot alts, and, need I mention it, gold spammers.

You seem to have mentioned relatively easy-to-acquire stats with what might be considered middling (by end-game standards) values. What about stats garnered from truly end-game instances, regularly farmed by the Usual Suspects? Since I'm not a math whiz, kindly do the math on a tier boost for a Hortek orange Dex/Patt or Patt/HP stat done up in the way you've described.

IMO one of the worst ideas for making already OP players that much more OP (and richer from selling the tiered stats.)

I'm hearing that a possibility for not-so-great stats to be combined into better stats could make someone already powerful even more powerful.

How is this different from our current model? A not-so-geared player has to buy gear/stats from people that "monopolize" end-game instances already. I'm suggesting that a player be allowed to farm what s/he can farm and combine like stats into better stats.

The one caveat I would impose on the system I'm proposing is that you cannot use the same NAMED stat more than once on a piece of gear.. ie, the aforementioned Mage stat. If you have a Mage XVI, you cannot place a Mage XV on the same gear.

& as far as how it's too easy to tier up a stat, unlike Runes, you must use the IS to get puris to make the stats in the first place. If I recall, puris are what.. 19 dias so.. 380 tokens? that's 4 days of dailies to tier up for the "purely" F2P using 3 alts.

Part of me wonders if people even care about the core of games like this... do better, get more powerful, do more. I've always wondered why a game that allows tiering up Runes didn't allow tiering up stats.

I would also suggest RW rank improvements increase most in GREEN stats ( since they're single stats ), YELLOW stats ( "common" rare stats ) & finally ORANGE/RED stats

To me, the Green stats should have always had the MOST individual stat score since they're not split between 2-3 stats.
