Post things we want to buy in Auction House

It would be nice if people could post requests in the Auction House, along with an offer of gold that they would be willing to pay. That way if you come across an item or material that someone needs you could check AH to see if there is a buyer, rather than force people to world shout which is iffy at best, as the person with the thing you want may not see it or may not be online at the moment.

Not a bad idea, You could also add item shop items to the list, It would be easier than using megaphones.

Agree its a nice idea but as borella already pointed out. Won't happen cause less people would buy megaphones.

Lol I like the idea but the mega argument is moot due to /join Trade and /join trade.
Every server I have been on has a channel or 2 like this.

I'm not really sure why it would affect the sale of megas. As Bouldershoulder already pointed out, there is a channel or two which a decent amount of people are in, making megas not necessary to sell items. Not to mention, people would still buy megas to troll in world as well as to try to get an immediate sale instead of waiting for someone to offer to sell or to buy the item they want/need.

Troll tokens are not necessary to buy/sell stuff as Boulder and Zeri mentionned. Not sure how they could make it viable on AH but i like the idea but probably would be exploited by unscrupulous people like diamonds were. If you play on Reni, whisper me i can almost make any piece of gear/weapon craftable available in game up to level 87 and a few others on Reni also can. ;-)
