Fruit of... Amnesia

How bout putting something in the Cash Shop that will "unlearn" an elite skill? Currently there is no way to get rid of broken elite skils... even if you use a Fruit of Forgetting, you will already have all your previous elite skills if you get that secondary again. For classes with elites that break the combo... Example: Wd/M (Resonance of Wind) and R/P (whichever one causes that energy drain)... we need a way to "forget" these skills until a fix can be implemented (which takes years, apparently).

Price should be free, or at least extremely cheap... since we aren't getting a buff, just erasing a nerf which never should have occurred in the first place.

+1 from me

also put in the list the following:

- r/k lvl 15 elite
- r/d lvl 60 elite
- wl/p lvl 30 elite
- s/d lvl 60 elite
- s/m lvl 40 elite
- r/m lvl 25 elite

for their (controversially or not) broken elites. ofc they r not combo-breaking ones, as in the case of wd/m and r/p, but still they r elites that u wouldn't want to have in ur skills arsenal cause they render one skill useless (or almost useless) each.

.... How does Psychic Rising Tide render a skill useless on wl/p? I think an instant rising tide that costs no mana to use and has a chance to make urgent heal instant, more powerful (for the instant cast), and cost no mana is pretty good.It just gives rising tide a cooldown. Doesn't m/p do the same (except for the instant urgents and not costing mana)? If your basing it breaking a skill off of my post for ideas to fix warlocks, then to clarify, I wasn't saying it was broken. Just that it should also turn rising tide into a dark spell.

the concept of the post is that an elite skill should provide advantages. only.

in same terms, lvl 15 elite of r/k increases the dmg of disarmament. however, it gives the skill a 3-sec cd. if u feel like u can "fill" that interval then its a great elite since it increases dmg of a dps-skill. others however will argue cause they prefer to spam disarmament in these 3-secs (will less dmg), rather than fill with other skill.

wl/p RT elite provides a nice boost to RT. however it gives it a 4-5sec cd. its all about how u want to make use of the skills. for example s/m ignite gets boosted in dps-terms by the 40 elite and also may root the opponent. i d prefer it as a buff to be able to cancel it, cause it really breaks apart the swarm of mobs u may be kiting (cough * tosh * cough).

in general, my opinion is that if an elite provides even a minor "bad" modification to a skill (either by entering cd or reducing effect time etc), then it should be put as a Buff so the player can decide either to use its effect or not. if they do it, there will be no-mass complains about broken skills or about different playstyles.

If you're going by that logic, then put the m/p elite that modifies rising tide into the list, too. But playing as a wl/p, psychic arrows does more damage than rising tide (and I'm comparing it to when I had psychic arrows at lvl 50 and rising tide at 60), rising tide does not cause a global cool down, it still gets its cast speed of 2 damage modifier, it is really nice on bosses that drain your focus/rage/mana/energy as kit costs nothing to use, and it also has a nice place in a instant cast rotation (mine is spreading pain, soul trauma, rising tide, warp charge, heart collection strike, surge of malice, and by the time that's over, I can usually start the middle of my rotation again as rising tide, warp charge, heart collection strike, surge of malice. If I really need to add in a skill, I'll throw in a couple quick psychic arrows and a puzzlement while the target is still weakened, and I'll also use weakening weave curse to refresh the weakened debuff.).
