WTB Indigo getting merged into Artemis so all the people that left from indigo to artemis recently can be re-united with there toons and few players/friends left behind on indigo. Kinda makes sense, jsing :D

Sorry to bump here but my question kind of got buried 2 pages back.

What will happen to a guild with an inactive leader on the target server, lets say Govinda? Will they stay in place or be purged like all other inactives from other servers?

Another question, is logging any character on an account enough to classify a player as active, or does every character on that account have to be logged individually?

Since they are being defined as "in/active accounts" I would assume that it would be just logging one char on.

Presuming for the moment that you have a character in the guild with the inactive leader, and there are other ACTIVE members in that guild, I strongly suggest sending a ticket to Support and discussing the issue there. We do have procedures for transferring guild leadership from an inactive character/account.

The characters being merged are based on active accounts. Therefore, it is safe to assume that you only need to log in one char on an account to be considered "active."

Yeah, but would be nice to hear confirmation from green monkeys. You don't want to hear "ok, we are done merging" and then see your roster empty.

Answers can be found here for now: Server Merge Specifics

Specific answer to your question (again, for now):

Q1: What happens with characters with the same name?
When two characters coming together have the same name, the one from the target server will keep it, while the one being merged into it will have to be renamed. We will mark those characters, and when the account is logged in a character rename window will appear.

Note that "for now" means that some of the specifics are being reviewed for clarification and possible expansion. More information is likely to be available later.

I saw that, Kalvan. I'm asking if two people from different server are being merged into the target server, and the name is available on the target server. So, for example, if a Zerienga on Thalia, and a Zerienga on Reni get merged into Artemis and there's no one on Artemis named Zerienga.

I actually this morning asked for more clarification on this as it didn't make much sense to me either. As Kalvan mentioned, I'm sure we'll have some more information as it becomes available.

To me, the announcement reads in a way that only one merge will happen at a time, so it will depend which server is merged into Artemis first. I believe it's already been determined that Thalia will be the first to merge.

However, I look forward to hearing what comes back from Saito's inquiry as I may not be reading it correctly. Getting the info from Gameforge is always going to be better than any of us offering our opinions or speculations...

When I left taliah dias were 25k per and falling
