That NPC deserves the most epic troll title.

It's not really trolling though. It says: "Trade 20 Lucky Badges for 1 guild rune". You gave the NPC 20 Lucky Badges and he gave you 1 guild rune, just as it says, I'm not sure why you'd be expecting something different.

I would have saved up for the Destiny Ring, as it seems to give much better bonuses and abilities.

point is, it's like putting individual link runes on the PoM vendor. it's so bad you think that something is wrong(loca issue), and the reward can't possibly be correct.

after asking for gm's to test it for the past week, mr. blak took it upon himself to test it.

it is in fact what it says.


that being said, there is no reason it should even BE a choice.

I don't read it as Aqualink defending the reward, but more that the choice selected is what the reward was given. In other words, if you choose the option for One Guild Rune, then you will get One Guild Rune.

The reward is pretty much in line with other minigame rewards, except now that Malatina and the others had updates to their minigames, our expectations are higher.

Maybe these minigames need updates too...

I think my assumption was this:

Skills have the tooltip: Does %mainhand DPS

gets reported because damage is low.

GM confirms that it's a LOCA issue... the tooltip should read %ranged weapon damage.

It happens. Except with more popular things, a fix comes rather fast, otherwise it is unnoticed. I thought this reward would be something that is 'unnoticed' like day of rain... illusion blade dance... etc.

I never defended its existence. Please re-read my statement and let me know if you need any help - I'd be happy to walk you through my text line by line to explain to you exactly what I was conveying.

This is technically turning into a suggestion thread so I'll move it into the proper forum. It would be interesting to find out all your other suggestions for the other minigames besides goblins that need updating so they would be used more. We'll compile a list of them and pass them onto the powers that be to see if some of them can be implemented :)

Alot of the drill ground games could do with an update, most of the rewards are fairly terrible

The buff towers for atk, hp and def are pretty damned poor too, maybe have it at set numbers as it is now but higher till say lv 5 and then start them at %? Maybe that would be a lil op for the uber end gamers, perhaps still fixed numbers but alot higher than 200 atk :p (or whatever it might be atm)

A lot of stuff... even skills. Are dated @ 65 cap. A lot of changes could be helped by just adding flat number aswell as %

say skill at level 10 = 100 patk + 1% patk. That 100 patk helps the low level way more than 1%, but at level 90 = 900 patk + 9% patk. the 900 patk gain is super low, but its the 9% that makes it helpful again.
