Make siege more balanced and fun!

... by eliminating all artificial foods and pots whatsoever from siege. The only pots allowed would be invisible pots, spellweavers, candy, and serenstum, housemaid pots and buffs, guild buffs, and players spell buffs. Nothing else, not even grasslands or damage foods. Nothing but the clothes on your back and the weapon in your hand. Let's see which guilds have real teamwork and which players are really good at using their skills in pvp!

Siege is all about gear, OP class, pocket heals and buffs, then skill. Taking out one wouldn't change much.
That ultra skilled guy with 60k hp and 40k matk playing a not so OP combo will still stand no chance against someone in full honor gear with a pocket healer spamming urgent heals on him for 80k urgents.

Taking the pots out would actually reduce the amount of skill and interesting tactical options in siege.

My suggestion would be to improve the effectiveness of the "Detection" ability so that scouts can be the kryptonite to invis pots. (There's rare agreement on these forums that scouts need more than they have.) Maybe tweak Fearless to make you immune only to damage, not to interruption. Add tactical options, rather than removing them.

Mmmm, scout detection doesn't see through invis pot...

And I like potions in siege. It basically follows this games model of customization. Every character can be a little different in every case, it's the main reason quite a few people play/enjoy this game.

instead of making things only be obtainable in SW, just have all SW items come with a 1 hour time limit. that way they persist through crashes, and you can even take them outside siege if you want(can't use thme outside siege, but they can be in ur bp taking up space, etc), yet they can't be used for anything else(especially another siege). just need to make them not buggable like some other time-based items were.




i do agree with mr. blak about the SW pots/gears. i know it's an idea both of us have been supporters of since it's conception, but i would just like to reinforce my opinion.

I really think it would make siege more competitive. For american sports fans lol siege is currently like MLB's salary structure while it would be far more entertaining if it was like the NFL. Anyway, the same goal of more competitiveness but a different approach would be to just add 200k hp to everyone's hp who enters siege. Lot less dying would mean more time spent fighting.

Well once a week or once a month, make siege war fun, you go to siege and given a package with white unstated, unplussed, runeless gear. no pets of any type, just plain fun.

But as Borella stated about heal, ya would be bad hahaha, priest/druid would rule this one.

P/K would be the king of survivability in sw! :D lmao

Also, even though I know anyone hardly plays the class, ch/wl would be extremely overpowered as well. It gets a 49.2% heal every 7 seconds from 3 attacks. Ch/m HEB would be OP on players too.

There would be epic 15 minute battles for control of every tower! But I really don't think it would be so bad. Most everyone is overkilled in siege anyway, and healers already rule.
