A lot of people would not agree with that idea Kijin Seija. if they do that then people would rage on it because they would lose their most prized gear that they work so dearly hard on.One major flaw in this game as many have suggested is that the death penalty is not harsh enough. Never before have I heard a game that simply applies exp debt and removal of armour bonuses for dying. What I suggest are reasonable death mechanics implemented by other popular MMOs.
1) All items we equip or in inventory should be dropped on death and protected by a gravestone for one minute. We then have to do the same corpse walk back to the gravestone from the hub we respond at. If the one minute timer is up all items disappear permanently. This isn't as harsh as players have a chance of reclaiming items with no penalty at all. Also, if they do fail, we have a much needed item sink.(Runescape death penalty)
OR:
2) Upon death, our armour degrade by a base of 50% (higher percentage degradation with higher levels). This can be minimised by doing a corpse walk back to the grave. Degradation can be repaired by spending golden hammers. Say one golden hammer can recover 1%. This is a great source of revenue for the company to advance further and introduces a much harsher death penalty to make the game more interesting. (World of warcraft does this with gold, silver and copper coins)

Lol this guy is clearly a troll based on all six of his posts.
Best to just let this terrible thread die.

I agree 100% with the OP.
Actually, they should have characters die permanently and make you start over from scratch. OP's solutions is too lenient.
lmao
