Sorry for Offtopic.

Quick question about fearless runes... Flame Towers must do damage in order to add Fear effect. Would enough fire resist make for a permanent immune vs flame towers? (and therefore, no fear effect?)

thats actually quite an interesting point.

from what i remember, flame towers do 500 base damage. with fire ward even at 50, you only need 400 more resistance. thats just 5 fearless 7's, or a mix of 6 and 7 if OD.

can you get flame/earth/etc stats from the codex fusion stone merchants?

Hmm... Just fought Valhallaguild today in sw... They had a k/m: Serpentine. His full attack only hit my undergeared pve geared wl/p for 83,226 noncrit. And I only had 97,312 mdef. I have no clue if he buffed up because I was focusing on killing people. And I killed the k/m quite a few times.

Hmmm
Sry this screenie is kind of small...

Max full attack of 136k from K/m who is using a t12 +20 2-h hammer iirc while buffs were burning.
I use full, 4 + 3 honor gear. Think I was at approx 330k mdef on ch/m.

Idk how many times I've said pdef is overrated and mdef ftw ^.^ tanky magical classes have no way around mdef, where as the same is not true for tanky physical classes.

K/M are a pain but I vote to please leave them alone so we don't have even more people quitting ROM. The only skill I really want nerfed is M/Wd earth groaning wind blade. I feel the range should not be 10% or more farther than every other skill in ROM, other than snipe, while hitting so hard and also being instant cast. Reduce the range to 225 and all will be right with the world.

Magma blade from m/d is exactly the same as earth groaning blade, imo this skill is fine left as is.

Magma blade hits a little less because a M/D does not get a increase to earth damage, where as m/wd gets Earth Septar. That is the only difference as to why magma blade hits a little less.

Earth Groaning Wind Blade doesn't even hit that hard, the same for all mage instants in general vs melee damage...

It hits hard if you don't have much mdef and/or bad gear, however why do these skills have 250 range while most other mage skills and mage elite skills have 225 or less range? The only other 2 that have a range of 250 is elemental weakness and earth scale blade (ISS that's probably never used but don't quote me on that), aside from these most skills have had a maximum of 225 range or below for mage

Every class is useful (there are some doubts about Scouts) and can succeed. The classes are not totally balanced. That does not mean they are equal. Money means a class which is slightly OP becomes totally OP because of the gear and money spent on the character. There is so much power in the gear etc. that a character with a little advantage with no gear etc. would win 51 out of 100 fights, however with the current gear situation would win 99 out of 100 if both characters were geared etc. to the max. The differences in the classes are not that great it is the gear and money spent maxing it and all skills with the ability to buy all upgrades home maid, castle, cards,potions etc. that turn minor differences into a total unbalance. Don't worry that much about your class worry about how much you can spend on your character.
