Siege war fear capping towers

Can we get something done for this because it is more stupid than anything else. People going to siege and using K/P all the time to fear car towers which is so boring and really no strats involved.

People could post suggestions on this for them to think of what could be done.

Something i think they could do :

Cannot take a tower unless all 3 guards are killed
Flames and electrical towers shouldn't be able to be one shot by anyone, make them more PDEF/HP and hits harder
FOT's/Eyes/seawash also should be improved in the same manner

Since the guards have been leveled improved so should these items

It would give a purpose to low levels trying to defend home towers and not seeing their hardwork go to waste if one person fear caps it and guards take down everything they've worked for. Low level undergeared people should be able to enjoy the game too ;-)

Towers already can't be one shot if you have a high enough processing factory. Also, k/p isn't the only one that can fear cap. They just don't need food to do it. And fear capping can also be countered by p/r. Now, requiring all 3 guards tp be killed first would make sense if the middle one wasn't so overpowered. Requiring the guards to all be killed without adjusting anything else will mean that everyone will just be tying in siege war instead of winning or losing.

Well the usual people with non useful solutions, no tower should be taken with the guards alive. But i guess it all goes with the people that wants everything easy in life and game. So basically people all group up, go tower to tower and fearcap the towers while the others do the same in the other guild blablabla, gotta love the challenge on that. Guess people crying about PvP and nerfs are all about QQ since they don't want to fight the opposite guild, just want to fearcap.

But then again asking for suggestions on the forums as become as useless as the ones responding here. Then wonder why people don't join the game and population getting low.

tbh its really no different than the way it was 5 years ago.... if a tower stood empty... and even if i was a level 1 toon... i could pop a flame tower near tower. distract guards... and take tower all by myself as a lvl 1 toon.

point is. its just evolved, eventually we will see more p/r in siege when people become fed up about it.

I hate fearless capping too but is what it is.

Normally we don't fearless cap unless we are severely undermanned. And though I do agree it would be better to have to kill all the guards in order to cap, smaller guilds who don't have the firepower to kill the guards would be at a disadvantage. I think it'd be difficult for a group of level 50 toons to take out all 3 guards before the end of seige (although I would love to get some toons together and give it a try) in order to cap the tower.

How bout making a consumable item that has the same effect as Purge? To keep it from being abused, make the CD longer than the P/R skill... maybe 7 mins to match with Fearless. Buyable from any Friendly Tower. Cost? Hmm... Should be more than FoTs and Eyes, but not excessively so. Maybe 60 merits per... that's plenty enough time for a tower hugger to get enough to defend a fearless cap.

they should make it so that ppl can't start capturing towers with ppl from the opposite side nearby but it brings ppl hiding nearby out of their illusions and hide when you try to start capturing, that way ppl can't just stay in hide near the tower to stop it from being captured.

though it should be noted that having ppl near the tower only stops it from starting to capture and not stop capturing if ppl come near after it has started capturing.

reduce fearless duration so a tower cannot be capped with the help of immune food/skills.

example) guild A survives the entire siege hour via champ/mages and % heals (both of which should also be fixed), then rolls out at the last minute with vehicles or stealthed rogue/priest or whatever combo.... and fearless caps for the win, even though guild B beat their asses in actual combat for the entire hour, clearly outmatching them.

does guild A deserve to win? HELL NO.

Siege is about fighting, not scumming it up for an hour and scum capping.

Fearless capping can be countered with p/r and with other fear capping. If a guild can fear cap multiple towers at the same time, they have amazing coordination in their guild.
