Nah, they'll just put out another level cap and then increase the amount of diamonds that it takes to buy anything in the item shop just to get more money from the people who spend money on the game.



I'm wanting the server merge like everyone else and such, but with no news as to what is happening it feels like we are left in the dark too much especially with something this important to us to have a server merge.

I don't usually do doom and gloom posts, but here I go.

I think it would go a long way for GF to show us what they are up to. They need to keep us updated on the progress of the server merge. Some information about the next step would be great. Just some info about the timeline of when the diamond merge would happen. At this point we just need something.

At this moment I share the same fear of putting money into the game just to have that money be a final payout for GF and the game goes away. I understand that becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy though. If everyone does that, then the game probably wont survive. My contract doesn't start up for another 2 weeks, and paychecks are at least 2 weeks away from that, so I wouldn't try to put anything back into the game until then.

I don't know what else they can do, but they have let the distrust of the company go this far, the server merge gave everyone hope... and then it felt like we were lied to. If they had told us at the start that they would have to do this diamond thing first, maybe it wouldn't have been so bad. I just find myself going "after they do this diamond system change, will they come up with something else to delay the server merge?"

Personally, I think they need to really fast track the RoM server merges.....


Unless they want the game to shut down.... IDK could be true. As a company I wouldn't want to deal with RW anymore....

The last we heard was that our diamond & ruby balances were going to become accout-bound rather than server-bound and that still hasn't happened yet.

I know we have been patient, but we need to be more patient still.
They said Thalia would be merged first & it was; they said our diamonds would be account-bound and we're still waiting on that; then the rest of the merges would happen.

We're still waiting on the middle bit - they're not going to skip past it.

It makes sense for them to make the diamonds account bound before the merge. Otherwise lots of people could lose there diamonds when their accounts get transferred, which will either lead to a huge backlash by the players, or a mass rage quit.
That being said, I agree that they need to pick up the pace. I do believe that the merge will follow the diamond consolidation rather quickly, there would be no other valid reason to put the merge off.

If a GM wants to weigh in on this, as said previously, it would be nice and would give people some peace of mind.
