Now this I can agree with much more than my opening post, but with the request of the piece of gear showing what stat they will get with it as well.1) yes go back to guaranteed stat pulls on items. Used to be if you wanted stam/magical attack you bought item X, or if you wanted another you bought item Y. If you wanted the gear for OD use... then you had to deal with the stat after you got your OD item. I think this system worked fine except that it benefited some classes and not all. Let the items have the stats that ALL classes can use. DONT increase the cost for a guaranteed stat. Why you may ask? I thought GF would have realized by now that if people get stats quicker/easier they are MORE likely to regear as they can get the stats easy. By making it take 3 weeks to get the stats for ONE item, they are cutting their own profits cause most cant regear if they don't have the stats and thus they don't spend the money.....
Just take wis/matk out of the cloth pom stat pool. Terrible stat. Make your players happy, just this once.![]()
back when Tosh came out and before that is how it was. I remember buying x necklace showed you would get stam/magical attack, buying y necklace showed that you would get a different one, etc. There wasn't a dex/pattk, or str/pattk that I remember but that was one of my major suggestions back then was to add them. Then they removed the static stats for random ones. I geared much more back then cause I knew if I farmed for 3 hours I would get a stat I needed. I would set aside weekends and grind grind grind and make 1-2 pieces of gear a week and spent far more on diamonds back then.

I think stat pulls should just be better. This game could use a bit less grind and a bit more time spent on doing fun things.
Raise normal mode stat drop rates and we'll all be a lot happier.
Game has a way to pull good stats - unfortunately those pulls are POM based. Making mems pull bad stats was a bad bad decision. Mems were always "ok, maybe your gear or stat didn't drop, but at least you got something of value", which encouraged instance running. Making mems nearly valueless discourages runs, and that is bad for game.
Being able to spend extra mems to get better quality item/stat or at least a chance for one would be a good change. I don't think 50% is nearly enough, though, but getting normal or hard stats at increased cost would encourage me to actually look forward to pulls, instead of going "meh, I am not wasting mems on this junk, I'll go and buy mats instead"
Tuu, on shell stats (haven't checked EOJ best gear, POM gear, or mem gear), the stat rate is 25% for each stat. The problem is that there are more bad stats than good stats.
jfyi you can't pull yellow stats with PoMs. Yellow stats can still be the best stat for 4th-6th stat depending on the way you stat. So good stats are pulled with varying currency.
