Hard Mode Ini's drop rate

Think is time to add another purple to each hard mode boss. I can say with confident that the group Im running with is
the most active endgame guild in the US servers as far as running goes. Avg at least a run a day. We have gotten 1 OD
scout/leather chest and 1 OD chain chest in COE, both 102 dura. My suggestion is add another random purple drop for each boss
and for last boss 2xpants or 2xchest. This is getting way too repetitive trying to just upgrade 1 set. 100+ last boss
kills should get more then 4-5 OD chest/pants. Or my other idea is cut off the huge gap between UD and OD. 70-120 makes
no sense, make it an even 85-115.

Been running coe over 100 times by now and we have about 10-15 usable pieces. Took 4 months to get one chain helm OD and now it's taking another 2 months to get the leather helm. Either change the drops or make the dura even like tien said.

I agree 3 purples per boss seems fair to me, however I fear the more items each boss drops the less chance of OD. It's a game of pick your poison, more items = less chance of OD or less items = more chance of OD.

My guild been running crypt everyday since May-ish unless HoE is open and we haven't looted OD mage talisman, pointless item, but not a single OD still... :D

Increase ratio to get OD perhaps!

Artemis' first OD mage pants from PoM dropped just last month. Pathetic. Wanna upgrade the set but it's sooo old now.

Blooddrinker has yet to drop OD for us in CoE. Pretty sure dagger only dropped once.

I was actually thinking about 3 drops per boss this past week as an idea. +1 I wouldn't mind a combo of that and 85+ Dura. With the population there's not enough stuff going on. Either drops or pulls (Shells/EOJ/PoMs) to merit so much unusable items/stats.

I think to revive the game... I would say remove dura and +20% all gear. Less gear people have, the less they want to gear up, and then the less they spend. That is just me though.

I just think something needs to change major to get people to feel it is worth pushing outside their comfort zone to gear up.

But maybe not, meh guess it might not matter too much at this point.

You want to revive the game make all items bound on equip. How many of those 100 high level pieces were sold to vendors or stoned out? If they had been put in the Auction House even the under durability ones would have sold and the number of players would have been greatly increased. The ABLs and the need for them while a great profit maker will be the death of the game because they destroy any possibility of most players to ever get good gear without spending huge amounts of time or money on the game.

I think it would be better if they asked at the begining of the instance what gear you were looking for and modify the loot tables to have a better chance of dropping it. would help a lot more and reduce the amount of runs needed to get full sets

People that just sit around doing minis and stuff don't understand the struggle and pain of
putting in ridiculous amount of hours trying to get the 4pc set OD.

-A new IS item/hammer to make an item perm OD would never happen as it defeats the purpose of having reg golden hammers.
People would pay alot more then 1k diamonds for OD wings.

-3 purple instead of 2 = higher chance of gear/OD. I dunno what your smoking there gigi. You havent played or quit
so you obv dunno the struggle.

And endgamers getting more OD/gear = they will be regearing faster = more OD shinies/old but good gears in AH.

Somehow missed this thread, but yea chance for OD in instances is rubbish, should increase drops OR just change all duras 80+ maybe.

having a higher chance to getting od means a less chance of getting ud

the more OD gear in game, the the use of golden hammers in game. That is how RW/GF look at it most likely, so it will never change.

answer this, when has a player suggestion ever been put in the game?

ofc i support the idea of making it easier to get OD/ item looking for :P

Some of those links don't even make sense. Scout fix only took like 4 years after they broke them in the first place, and the fix was nothing even close to what suggestions were made. It was a 100% band-aid fix even though players gave beautifully well thought out suggestions to balance them properly. Mentos still suck. Server merge.. hasn't happened? Instances haven't been fixed.. in fact now its just closed?

The only actual player suggestion that was sort of implemented was that essence droprate was slightly raised (it still sucks) and that maderoth quest.

HAHAHA, I think our (the players) meaning of the word raised is a tad bit different to GF/RW's meaning of the word raised.

Anyone recall the story of Jobe from the bible? That is what this is, our faith in ROM is being tested to its absolute limit.

As for the topic of the OP, Do I think chances of OD should be raised a little bit more? Yes. But will it happen? Not likely to happen in my lifetime.

I mean hell, I think we only had one od ring drop from Pomh melee dmg set in Govinda since its release.

I was never good at reading so sorry if wrong.. but i didn't see anything in the links that was a player suggestion that got added to the game..I just saw one after another of threads asking for bugs to be fixed or a bug being fixed..

Mementos still suck, the chamber exchange idea to my knowledge has not happened, And if it really was just the players idea for a merge and not the game makers/publisher.. ...then i am worried even more that only the players are trying to come up with ways for the game to be better/improved.


Again, reading is not my strongest point so if i am wrong feel free to put it up, unless you mean that the links you gave where the sarcastic hidden thing, then agreed.
