I hear you say IS items are too expensive. Well good sir they maybe too expensive for us but the Germans are more than happy to pay for it. And Gf's main concern is what the Germans want. They are like the first class passengers on a plane and we are the coach. As of right now, even with the server merge, there is hardly a future for Runes of Magic. Let's just face the facts here. Each server consists of about 25-50 good players that have been around for a long time, and they consist of an even smaller amount that can successfully run instances. This is because 90% of players get to the point when they realize you need to spend a lot more money than they anticipated to be any good at the game. Unless you want to spend 4 years making alts for shells, eojs, and other in-game bonuses.
I recently read a thread based about advertising the game. Where this is a good idea, it wouldn't help because the game isn't f2p. I understand you need to have the item shop around just to make some revenue, but what everyone fails to see is POPULATION IS KEY.
It's a simple concept that is in the back of everyone's mind. If you make the prices lower, then more people play the game. More people play the game means more people buy diamonds. More people buying diamonds means MORE MONEY. And more money eventually leads to a populated, and successful game.
So my question lies this; why is no one doing anything about balancing the game, and making it more fun to play for the general public. If something isn't done the game will eventually be shut down. The server merge is like putting someone in a nursing home. It makes the remainder of their life as comfortable, and drawn out, as possible.
No one needs a Tier 25 weapon Warrior lmao but people who complain the game is expensive, there are those that do not spend a dime on the game at all since it is F2P, since it's F2P it means they can be endgame all T10 and +20 statted LOL, it is doable but you better be patient as hell. But that is how they were brought up and everything was given to them on a silver spoon, NOTHING IS FREE IN LIFE.
It's just like those things you buy, when it says LIFETIME WARRANTY, read the fine print and you will see it has a clause that says that they will pay a percentage of the replacement costs up to 25 years, but basically after the 5th year you ain't getting much back LOL.
People should take the course in school that is called : REAL LIFE SITUATION AND APPLICATIONS, a lot read the words but cannot read the fine print, same thing applies to ROM.
The merge if it happens, will make servers more populated and we will have more people to play with YIPPIE!!!! but i think they are waiting till then to start advertising it ( I hope ). Cause no one will want to come and play if they see all of us complain that we lost stuff, toons missing etc during the merge. I truly hope they get it right on the first try and meet new interesting people to play with![]()
Word I know no one needs it but still lol 110mil for a t25 that's crazy I'm just describing how expensive rom can be.
...we asked for a mergers or toon transfers for so long even years ago and all they said was IMPOSSIBRU.

Word I know no one needs it but still lol 110mil for a t25 that's crazy I'm just describing how expensive rom can be.
O.o I would love a t25 for 110mil
i dont even think 110bil would do that! 110billion green bunny rabbits? maybe![]()
Even $110 milion USD wouldn't be close, to tier something to T25 would take 15.7 billion charges (7.8 billion diamonds if on sale). This would be the easy part though, actually making the T25 stones would be more of a problem, at a rate of using 1 charge per second it would take 497 continuous years to make 3 stones.Quoted from "SHAYdynasty"

fairly sure RW developed a database tool, or some way to easily manipulate RoM's databases, which did not exist previously.
^ basically this lol. Refusal to do something to be able to do something else =/= impossible.It's. Not. Possible. It's /pause/ Not /pause/ Possible if something could be developed, then it was possible. Inconvenient or a pain in the behind, maybe, but possible.![]()
