Before the merge...

So I was in teamspeak with friends today, and I realized that I've known a lot of them for years now, and that we're friends because we all chose Artemis as our server. It made me curious as to why we all picked whichever server we did. My story is boring, I came to Artemis because my son has played since closed beta, so I chose the server he was on. I'm guessing there's more interesting stories out there, if anyone wants to share, since we'll all be saying good bye to our original choices.

I choice Reni as my home server.

The reason for Reni is because i am an amine fan, and reni reminded me of a character from bleach named renji

My only reason, so everyone i know right now is because of an anime character.

I was originally on Reni, but then my girlfriend decided she wanted to play on Artemis so I made a toon here... And then she [left] but after I made some friends on arty I decided I'd stay..

I came to Artemis because my brother introduced me to the game and told me to create a character on this server.

He picked Artemis because it was the first server on the top of the list.

Uh It's hard to remember my thought process from that long ago but I think I chose reni for the simple reason that it started with an R. My name starts with an R so.. idk that's probably why. That was 2 weeks after game came out of beta, I think I was still in high school.

the cursor was already hovering over govinda when I made my account, and I was like hmmm, I can waste time and effort moving it...but will it really make a difference?

I picked Indigo because it was a PVP server. Care bear servers always have a lot of whining. I think this quote applies to the differences between PVP (savage) and PVE (civilized) servers:

I started on Artemis but within an hour I had some not so nice people that told me to get out ....so I went to Reni.I know not all players are mean but it worked out for me.

When I first started out I chose the wrong region and ended up on a EU server. I was there for a week when I realized hmmm they talk funny. lol From there I went to a pvp server, bad idea for someone just starting out! I left in a hurry. Who could quest when you are being murdered all day lol

I went through the server list and remembered the name Govinda from a paper I once wrote on Gods and Godesses of India.. I have been with the God of Cows since 09.

I forgot how much I liked RPG games until one day (Dec. 2012) I stumbled on a lets play video. I said "Go-vinda, that sounds cool." :gamer:
