Siege War

There currently is a big imbalance in siege war. Guilds with 44,000 scores being pitted against guilds with 4,000 scores, also guilds with similar scores facing off against each other multiple times in the same week. I would like to suggest a few changes, as follows:

1. All guilds signed up can potentially face any of the other guilds signed up regardless of the difference in scores.
2. Guilds who have a score in excess of double (or greater) than their opponents will have the following restrictions in siege war
A. No speed effects from either alchemy potions, food or stables will be use able by the higher level guild.
B. The lower level guilds towers at their castle will be invincible and cannot be attacked by the higher level guild
C. Guild gates for the lower level guilds will be buffed by 25%

By making these simple changes, the lower level guilds only have to take 1 tower of the 6 to get a tie (Their 2 which cannot be taken and 1 additional) or 2 towers where guilds are close like a 3,500 score guild facing a 7,200 score guild still greater than 50% difference but the 3,500 score guild has a really good chance of taking 2 towers and getting a win. By eliminating speed the higher level guild has less chance of covering all their towers speedily to keep the lower level guild(s) from getting ties or wins.

Those were the ideas I thought of, I am sure there are many more, so lets hear them! Or if you want bash my idea but please come up with a better way to make siege warfare a little fairer to all.

How about making siege like arcanium arena was back when it was just a nornal battlefield. Everyone gets a stock base pvp set of gear upon entering and they can trade merits for runes and enhancement to be used on said pvp gear. This puts everyone on an even playing field statwise.

And make it so each armor buff you pick is more expensive than the last in its respective stat category.

IE: stamina upgrade 1 for 1,000 stamina would be 100 merits. Stamina upgrade 2 would give another 2500 stamina but cost like 250 or 300 merits. These would be per player.

Other buffs or upgrades would reflect other attributes like dex and intel. Other buffs like dodge, parry, dmg reduc, dmg increase too.

Cloaki love your suggestion, i have suggested something similar long time ago. If you remember the event Dionnea help create in OS, we all had white gear for our class and dueled each other in rounds, that was so much fun!!!! Siege done like that would be awesome!!!

But then again all the people that made a 3rd or 4th set of PvP gear and always complains the game is so expensive will not like your suggestion. Since also making siege in that manner it would require skill to play that way ^^

Ehh I don't think making siege like AA would sit well with those who has spent 100's if not 1000's of dollers making their siege gear. The issue pointed out by the OP imo doeant really have anything to do with the game itself. Due to the population there are a limited number of guilds, so you are bound to end up seeing more or less the same matchups.

I think the one valid point of this thread is that it is not fun for either side when siege is one sided. watching alts hold a gate for 1h and getting slaughtered are both boring and not fun.


First of, i don't think players should be restricted from using their buffs or class or gear. I think it destroys the purpose of working for your gear and tp if you can't use it anyways. A player that decides to invest time or money or both in the game should get rewarded for doing so.

second, making it harder to end siege early wouldn't change much as the lower guild will get slaughtered and it would end up in a non fun situation where alts are holding gates until a last second try for a ninja cap. making the potential for the ninja cap greater won't change the fact the entire siege will be boring.

What would make sense would be to allow low geared players to have an easy access to decent yet not top end gear. I think +16 pvp gear with 6 predetermined bags stats and t6 runes accessible for a low gold or merit cost would be a good starting point. makes sure it works like battle and assault time and disapears when out of siege even if put in bank or something like that. that way stats and runes would be too low for extraction to be an issue.

Let's put the main crystal to use for something other than obtaining herald. so people can interact with the crystal and choose to obtain predetermined (or maybe prebuilt by the player from a pool of gear/stat) set of pvp gear. this way people can choose either to use their own gear or get some gear from the crystal to help. would be great in the sense that people can try out different class combos without having to stat for it first to find the combo they like and than go stat it with the best possible stats.

Besides that, one way to maybe make it more fun would be to introduce buffs/debuffs depending on the amount of players in each team and/or the point difference between the teams

If you give players a way to get better gear in siege war without having to improve there own gear, people would spend less money.
I dont know how strong of gear we are talking about but if its better then what the current player has, why upgrade outside of siege.


One thing players can do is put egos to side and merge more guilds, this why it gives you a better fighting chance.
So many guilds come in with 19 people or less when the cap is 36.
I know that iv lost a good amount of sieges just pure based on we were outnumbered to much, and same to a lot of our wins, They where out numbered.

You could also have RW lower Amount of people each side again but that would annoy people im sure.

Maybe the giving out gear would help, just cant see RW doing it, no profit from it.

Edit: Would like to also point out that, when a 44k guild faces a 4k Guild, that seems like a huge amount of points but sadly thats only 2-3 rank gap. The 44k rank 1 while that tiny 4k guild is probably rank 3-4 in the server.
