oh wow... GF/RW doing a compensation event for issues?! I thought it was always "working as intended"

Do we get to know the bonus values or just have to figure it out when it goes live?
A real sysadmin knows how to change the time.
If you make the same mistake while trying to make up for the previous one, you are doing something wrong.

As much as I'd love to say I offer consulting services, the scope of things broken is too large.

We attempted to get an answer for this and will report in that topic when we have more information. I don't think everything has been finalised 100% yet but we wanted to get it announced for people to plan. We'll report more in that topic once we know how much.

So they give us compensation and all you people can do is still whine?? really? guess you can't fix stupid. Why not just be glad that they actually show they felt bad for the servers acting up and actually be nice about it and give us something back? Why not be able to say TYVM Gameforge!!!

They also announce this ahead of time so people know when it is taking place, OMG they put information forward!!!

Whatever we get i will take it and would like to say TYVM to the Team to be able to put this up for us :beer:

Frequent xp/tp events are great. They really encourage ppl to try out new class combos etc. and even attract new/coming back ppl. And GF gets its share due to new gear being made. Thank you and keep this up (even without mistakes requiring compensation!). :D

But, yeah, +1 to what Maggio wrote: plz. extend them more often to work days.

Thanx for event may i ask for arcanium(Hoe,Hoc,How, Hof) to be opened this week or atleast during event?

In b4 trolls. yes ofc we can open it ourselves spending a fortune but this IS a compensation event after all :)

When I was a noobie, I would have agreed with you. But now that I have had to deal with their support and seen their idea of fixes, I can safely say whatever they are thinking of giving won't really compensate much of anything. (gives zid expired magic perfume and transformation pots without any stats and throws in some random event items that no one really does and hell lets even give him some art works of load in screen and pat him on his green wabbit head... we are very sorry for the inconvenience but here have these and have fun)


But in short I wasn't whining about them having a compensation event (though I reserve the right to do so when they give crappy things for it), I was just expressing my surprise that they were doing it without having being prompted by players on the forums. (and making fun of the *****s programmers and also one of the common gm's response to most things...)

Bil it was never aimed at you and you should know that :P but other posts were edited too and explaining my point of vue, but people got offended because i used words that was calling them what they are, no spine i say and can't make a valid argument. At least we are getting something from Gameforge and the Team this time and not a big cold shoulder :o

For me having support is the most important thing we need, they told us there was issues, they tried to fix it as fast as they could and kept us informed, what more can we ask? we hadn't had that in years. Plus we get free NPC's and extra XP/TP!!!.

I say appreciate what we get and enjoy it!!!! :beer:

Agree with Zid. Important to remember that they (GF) are under absolutely zero obligation to provide any type of "compensation". That they are doing this event is really just a token of good will. Anyone complaining about it not being what they want or what they need just comes off as being self-centered and petty.

Also agree that it is a nice change to see a bit more communication and transparency. Kudos to the GF folks. :)
