I was waiting for someone make this silly comparison. A druid doesn't need any natures power to cast spells, excepting d/wd gift pulse. Natures power simply marginally enhances spells which can already be cast without natures power so it's completely different than psi, which is a prerequisite in order to be able to cast many spells, just like warriors require rage, rogues require energy, scouts require focus, mages/wardens/knights require mana, etc.. I'm sure the only reason there aren't psi pots is because warlocks are a newer class and they just overlooked it.

Group Exorcism needs NP to cast too.

besides that, do not forget that the skills that r used when wl gathers the required 6 psi pts are really too good to be allowed to be spammed constantly (ice blade anyone?) (which is probably why most wl r not considered as dps class).

and they didn't overlook it, the recipes to make rage/focus/energy pots are really low lvl, bet they can't decide how and/or where to add psi pots recipes either!

to make warlock more dps oriented they need to add a small int modifier to all damage skills.excluding elites.
also keep in mind that i don't care if i am the best warlock on the server.i play to have fun nothing more.
this is also the reason i went on runs with you.i found it hilarious to listen to you and then watch you fail.

First off I never asked how to play w/m I asked for 100% light burn so w/ms wouldn't have to over gear just to compete.
Secondly don't get mad when I'm stating facts especially when a guild of Anthony just said he has t9 +20 and 1.2bil tp he told me he also had 1.2bil tp.
Thirdly since you want to get offenses I have had people tell me to add an alt wl/m rather than to add you but I said nah if he says no we will add an alt. You don't buff when asked and I'm pretty sure you sometimes forget to buff and debuff looking at the scrut.
I also don't need to play wl when I've run with an op wl who told me the gist of the class.
Last but not least w/m is a strat class, and I know wl/ch will probably never be top dps but it should still be able to do ample dps.
Also you haven't ran with me in a while to say ppl are out DPS'ing me when you were running with me I was wearing gear from lvl 85 because I just came back from a break and I don't need to play to post.

I knew wl/ch who was doing fantastic dps and was top of the scrut in group 1 and was beating as you put it fotm classes. wl/ch is not easy to play, however, and you need alot of skill unlike some other combo.

Yes they were, though it was during pomh time but pretty sure nothing changed since then. You dont know him and he does not make vids for awhile now.

As I mentioned, however, the class is very hard to dps end game, I saw few others with op gear failing miserably, you for sure need all those dps boosting ISS, some are simply vital for wl, and either be a really skillful player or maybe have very good script.

i've got over 1.3bil tp on my wl/ch and it does take all that for pve and pvp skills to be good, i can do the same damage as my w/m side solo runs on my wl/ch just takes me a extra second to get there now in full parties i do less since most buffs effect fire damage except wl buffs that do both.
my gear is only t8 and only just got hoe set and most of my gear is +20 at least the ones that matter.

and trying to do wl as a dps is more complicated then most other classes due to how one skill feeds off the others and have to get a crit at the right time and skill to max it otherwise your dps drops almost 50%. there is no real burn just sustained damage and on a wl/ch takes a sec or 2 to get to and on burn or die you don't have the time to do it so it's not the top class or preferred class in endgame runs.

as for a burn like skill something that lowers the crit rate of the boss or a skill to raise your or parties crit rate would be nice and would be a good balance along with fixing skills that have been broke from the start such as crime and punishment the wl/r elite.

sadly seeing people raging at warlocks when they do not even play the class and know all there is to know about them cause they heard it from someone. I heard that warlock can shoot lazers from their arse if the fight lasts long enough!!!! lmao. Anthonyii does not have 1.2 billion TP cause he told me in Disturbed Teamspeak when i was speaking with him, also he hasn't been in game for a while because of family issues, hope he is doing ok.

Ancientgear making DIYCE to play a class ROFL you don't need that for a buffer. But then again 1 button pushers are many since they can't play their class accordingly : Press 1, Press 1, Press 1, Press 1, Press 1,Press 1 lol

No one has seen endgame warlocks?? well cause no one wants to grind TP for them and see their full potential because that takes time and dedication. Any class you play and that you have only 300/400M TP on it, is not considered and endgame toon, casual/social player at most. If you have been here for more than 4 years and stuck with that little TP it is just sad.

Those who are worried more about scrutinizer numbers than actually having fun in an instances and learning the class they play, killing the boss and completing the said instances/quests have an ego and just don't care about the group. Who cares what damage you can do if the party wipes?? how many times i was top on scrutinizer on my knight when everyone was dead?? just had no purpose did it? lol.

People should speak about a class that they fully leveled and actually played instead of making assumptions and raging on the forums to no avail.

It's just the fact that warlocks top damage comes a few skills in as it adds its own debuffs to the boss. The only reason it is "handicapped" is that it's like pulling the boss then starting your buff count for all other classes.

Puzzlement is the highest damage skill you can use but depending on whether or not you have each and every buff that affects its damage on is the difference between it doing a 400k crit or an 8mil crit

I have played warlock b4 I happen to have 2 and ant said to me he maxed his skills he could of been trolling but I doubt it. I'm not raging over anything if you were referring to me I'm just agreeing on a way to improve another classes dps.
Also ant is endgame and Ivan even just said he's maxed and his dps is still lacking with good gear I would like to see this guy Heddin is talking about because I got to see it to believe it.
Plus as dps our main goal is to out dps each other were competitive atleast I am. People who are dps and say they don't like out DPS'ing people are lying or they can't out dps people. Of course we want to clear the instances but we also like out DPS'ing people if we didn't we would make a tank heal or support.

burn or die meta really makes classes that have build up to their dps, or high sustain/non burst look less viable than they should

blame runewaker for fail instance design and gameforge for not pressuring to make a better game

from pl server. Found it other week on de forum. Wl/ch is a good dps, issue is the huge amount of things it requires to make it endgame viable.

Huge amount of tp.
Precise timing on skills.
Correct support combos.
And imo a bit of luck. Which compared to the fotm classes we have, it's just easier to play these combos then get what's needed to play these interesting classes. I enjoyed wl/ch as dps a lot when i played it, really fun class. Just let down by the huge requirements for it.

I cant tell which is the wl/ch is it the one with the top dps ? and word going through all that trouble isnt worth it when you can focus that time on another class and make it way op

warlock/champion doesn't really have a burn phase. unless you count popping all cast speed buffs available.
it is a good combo for clearing trash mobs imho .
